I am trying to figure out WHEN things got bad for men. I mean, is MGTOW a function of modern society or is it something that should have always been in place?

For example. I think about how different things were when it came to dating and getting women back in the 90s. Back then the high tech thing to do was to have a beeper. It was very easy to meet girls online back then because the internet was still rather “new and interesting.” There were no texting or high tech cell phones back then. Life was a lot simpler.

Then again, women were always women weren’t they? Different times now, sure, but was it really THAT good for men in the 90s and before then?

There is zero incentive to join the plantation, this is even BEFORE you put family courts into the equation.

Absolutely this, I was with my Ex for 15 years and I can’t believe the difference now compared to back then.  Online dating, Tinder and smartphones have made it easier than ever to get pussy.  If you are OK looking, presentable and can string a sentence together there is no reason why sex isn’t easily on tap.  I too know of several women I could just message to get sex, but if that wasn’t the case I know I could sort something out via POF or Tinder very quickly.

I think men always had the worst part of the bargain, but at least in the past it was least apparent so we didn’t realized that as much. Amazing how far sex drive can cloud your judgment. Nowadays though, the cat is out of the bag, all the projections we did towards women are exposed and we can finally see what has always been: relationships are a 1 way street with men having all the responsibilities and women receiving only the benefits.

Although ruled by sex drive  – the purpose of which is to create offspring – males cannot actually bear children.  Instead, they give their seed to a child-bearer who does what she wants with it.  So that has always been bad.
