In 2018 when I graduate I plan on joining the US army to increase my strength mentally and physically so I can be strong for others and others around me,

Well the real reason I posted this was to get your guy’s opinion about it, and whether or not it would be a good career choice for becoming an even stronger person and a stronger MGTOW?

Army will make you strong but it won’t make you a MGHOW, because clearly you will never again be able to “go your own way”, you will only have to “follow orders”. That’s my opinion. To be strong, you will only need to be strong. You won’t need military training or martial arts or the gym. You will only need the right attitude.

One of the principles of MGTOW is being self sufficient. I do not know your financial situation but if you can go to college first without sinking hopelessly into debt do that then join. As an officer you will get a much better deal from any branch and more money and options. If this is not an option for you I would get into the highest vocation possible ( regardless of branch) something that will teach you a trade or give you a very strong foundation to build on if when you decide to get out. In my personal opinion the Navy or Air Force have the best trades to learn ( as they both receive the same amount of money but have smaller pools of personal so they allocate a higher proportion per person). After or if you get out then use your G.I. bill for every cent it is worth. Choose a G.I. friendly state to go to school in ( not sure which ones are the most friendly so I suggest you do some research) or if school is not your goal choose a great technical or vocational school and learn a trade, The world will always need electricians, plumbers, carpenters, welders and such. So no matter which branch or school or trade you choose make sure it is something you decide and love to do because the goal of MGTOW is to be happy and to be self sufficient.

If you find yourself unable to decide you can always use the master cheat code too 😀 . If you can take a year or 2 off before you decide to do anything and explore the world if you can financially or become a fritter (someone who does a lot of different jobs but masters none). This does not mean sit around or goof off during this time but use it to find yourself because I can assure you that even if you do not find your path at the end of it it will be great experience to help enlighten your path.

I dont’ understand. You would be willing to go to war to protect this system that is so pitted against you? And line yourself up be counted with lives the system thinks is worthless? And this is 3 years before THE SAME GOVERNMENT says you are allowed to drink?

At 18 you can DIE for them… but you can’t take a drink for 3 more years.
    (See anything wrong with that?)

I understand the discipline and training and benefits of a paid flight education or any of those points, but with such a wide-eyed view of feminism and the cancer on society it has been since the last big war…. you MAY want to rethink that – in another 3 years.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Please watch this video.  Going to the army is not the thing to do because the government and the people don’t give a s~~~ about people who risked their lives to protect their country.

Dude you are still young. Just worry about getting good grades, learning to be financially responsible and educating yourself outside of the BS they try and teach you in high school. When you are 18 and out of high school you can evaluate your situation then.

We all were 15yrs old  once, Take these guys advice, because what they say is right. get that education then think about the army.

Personally my only regret at 15yrs old is that I feel I should’ve gotten more Basic Qualifications passed and be more aware of the opposite gender. You have a great advantage right now because you most likely wont see any more truthful/honest answers and advice like this elsewhere.

Well coming from someone who wants to join the Marines you need to decide whats important to you in life, the reasons you listed are a bad reason to join the Military those are things you can obtain on your own. I want to join the Marines, because I hate the civilian mentality you’re more in danger at home than in a foreign country, did you see the veterans that came home just to have their base shot up?! Now tell me that isn’t some crazy stuff  here you’re thinking you will be killed by some terrorist who hates your guts, and it turns out you’re in more danger around your own so called “fellow Americans”. The Military comes with it’s ups, and downs since the beginning of time someone has profited off war this is not a new concept, you need to decide if fighting for good, and sometimes bad is something you can deal with. Spend a lot of time thinking about why you really want to join, it’s what I did I spent a few years deciding if I was more disgusted with the Government, or the lazy people that refuse to do anything about it years ago the president would be impeached, or maybe even beheaded for what he is doing right now. MGTOW’s are attacked, because we know the truth we’re not blind sheep following the Shepherd…I hate to say it, but our fate is sealed mankind is officially doomed. I just chose to join the Marines to get it over with quickly, it won’t be pretty breathing in radiation after the nukes have gone off…the only difference between civilians, and troops is that they will simply die later than sooner.

@ChaosAllOver I’ve looked around it and I’ve seen some pretty bad things that My government has done to other countries… and I’ve decided not to join
@chromestar Will do, and will always do I look up to you guys and think of you as big brothers.
@OldAtHeart I don’t know my new believes are that the soldiers they send are meaningless to them and they could care less and we are just pawns being sent in to die and be replaced.

Like I’ve said in other threads, it’s a bitter pill to swallow when you start seeing the nature of the world. Don’t let your emotions get the better of you. You seem to have brainstormed  some compulsory goals without thinking them through first.

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned over time is to not jump blindly into any ideology without taking some time to look at it critically, whether it is MGTOW or whatever. There are a lot of different voices out there with differing opinions that relate to the subjects facing men, a lot of whom are on youtube. You may find out you don’t agree completely with someone on certain details but you share the same mindset on the general principle that men are at a huge disadvantage in society and it isn’t by accident.

I’ve also made compulsive decisions and lacked a critical eye for whatever philosophy or what not that was extremely appealing yet later on have found out I disagree with some parts when I have stepped back and analyzed things. I spent quite a bit of time looking at my place in the world as a white male and the societal prejudice that exists to a certain extent. This brought me in contact with company that I now deem unsavory and who are basically people that are going to live their lives in total misery and probably all die of heart attacks before they can have their great revolution. It was a poisoned environment that I just couldn’t tolerate any longer. Pure negativity can be extremely draining.

I’ve backed off on arguing the race issue because it is more of a headache than it is worth and it’s probably the one issue that people in the modern age are nearly universally afraid of. A white person talking about race, regardless if it is constructive and based on trying to understand the other point of view, is going to almost always be demonized and ostracized to some extent.

A lot of things make sense at first, especially if they presented logically and seem like common sense, yet there is always flawed logic that you have to be aware of. I fell into the habit of going along with logical points of view without being critical of them. Critical thinking in all points of life is something you want to cultivate as soon as possible. I think that should be one of the foundations of the MGTOW point of view. Going your own way is exactly that, it’s not walking lock step with everyone else by default.

Definitely not trying to hijack the thread, just some friendly advice to keep in mind.

Alexander the military has good and bad points to it.  Jambear was correct in that if you can get some collage behind you and join the military as a rank of an officer you will be much better off.  However do not go into debt to do this, such as taking out student loans.  Yes you will have to take orders and may seem like being contrary to the MGTOW lifestyle.  However any way you look at it you will have to work at someplace and you will still be taking orders.  Even owning your own business you will still be taking orders from people, they are called customers.  The army will make you physically strong and mentally strong if you chose the right career path.  You will have a GI bill that you can use for more education and for buying a house.  Their are all kinds of benefits that come with being in the military.  However it does have some major draw backs also, for one you might have to go to war.  Now I will admit that playing Call of Duty is fun and seems real cool and all that.  However getting shot at in real life is extremely terrifying.  I was never in the military or an actual war zone.  I have been shot at, I know what a bullet sounds like as it fly’s past you and you hear the crack from it.  I have had guns shoved in my face before.  I have been in hand to hand fights before and been stabbed.  None of this is nearly as cool as it looks in video games or the movies, and damn sure is not fun.  I personally knew a guy (he is dead now) that was on the D-Day invasion on Normandy Beach during WWII.  Over 50 years later he was still having nightmares about it.  So the war factor would be a major down side of joining in the military.  However the discipline and self-reliance you will learn in the military are extremely valuable.

Being that your so young and still in high school (correct me if I am wrong) I’ll give you a tip to get through it the best way possible.  First off you have already made a good start by becoming MGTOW, let me tell you I wish I could go back to your age and make that same choice.  Now with school really focus on two major things, Math being the first one.  Learn all you can about math, calculus, trig, algebra I mean do your best to become a total math wiz.  Next your reading comprehension, you should be able to read a book and know about 85% or more of what the book is talking about.  Learning to become a better reader is very easy to do.  Yes I know most of the books they have you read in school sucks.  However do reading on your own, get books, even comics that your interested in and read the crap out of them.  I am 43 years old and I still read comics myself, I have been reading “The Walking Dead” comics and love them.  If your into zombies I would suggest “The walking dead” comics and another book called World War Z, it is an awesome book.  Now the reason I say to focus on these two subjects is because it will enable you to do just about anything you want to do.  Math is used in everything from building a house to a computer, any type of engineering will require lots of math.  The reading part will help you with everything else.  If your a good reader then keeping up with studies or actually doing the work of a doctor, IT professional, programmer, will be very easy for you.  You will be able to read about the subject once and put it into practice.

Either way you have a few years before you have to make some choices so for now really keep your nose in those books and do the best that you can.  You are on the right path and I am proud of you for that.  One day when you become an adult and you are able to make your own living then you will begin to enjoy all the sacrifices you have made early on.  Like I have told you, I am an old man compared to you.  However guess who still has video games in his house?  That’s right, I do and I enjoy them.  I have comic books, and all kinds of other stuff that I got with my own money.  Now I know at your age you might be thinking a bit about women and hell I don’t blame you.  However if you hold off on women right now and get that good job, trust me you will be able to enjoy lots of different women, they are normally called escorts.  You can pick and choose which one you like, pay a small fee and have fun with her.  Best part is that later on she leaves and you go back to life as normal.  So work hard in school, enjoy your free time with your friends or whatever it is you like to do.  Hopefully when you become an old fart like me, you will have enjoyed a better life.  My life is good now, however it was not always this way.  Thankfully MGTOW has been part of what has made my life so good today.

Go Navy! The options of you seeing the world are much wider. Go Airdale, work on aircraft, try to get on a carrier, which shouldn’t be hard. And you will go around the world. I did. The only mistake I made, was getting out. Military has a lot to offer. You just have to be in the right frame of mind. Go to college after high school, and see what a catastrophe that is. You’ll be in a better state. I left 3 days after high school. Either way, you’ll be better off seeing the world in the Navy!

Alexander, yes you are young and have some time to make decisions. But keep in mind also, until the bitches take over completely, there is a good deal of priceless male brotherhood and comraderery in the military. Particularly if you pick Marines or one of the more challenging branches.

You guys will go through some challenging and life defining stuff together, and should you ever get a tour of duty then you will be brothers for life. That experience of bonding through challenging circumstances is extremely valuable. You will be challenged as an individual and learn how far you can go, which is often much further than you ever thought.

That kind of experience is character building and gives you an opportunity to share some MGTOW views with your bros, and remind them there is some sanity left in the world.
