Interesting you mention this. It’s obviously true and a lot of guys have talked about how this occurred right around the time that fake book and online dating got popular. I never really did the online dating thing so I’m not as sure on the time frame and what the changes were.

Around what time frame would you say you noticed changes and what were they?

Online dating/hook ups gave women so many options that they increased their standards, thinking that most of those men would see them as relationship material, when really most of them just wanted to get their dick wet. The main changes I recall happening were women demanding men be at least 6 ft tall, and just generally “out of their league” because women assumed they were higher SMV than they actually were. Just curious, as an ex PUA if you can recall the time frame and other ‘requirement’ changes. I always find this interesting.

Years before this site and other content even showed up online. Oh ya, and I’m in my early 30s. Way ahead of the MGTOW curve old man. How was your MGTOW lifestyle going in your early 30s pal? Let me guess, non-existent? Probably married and/or simping around?

I would say I noticed the sharpest changes between 2004 and 2010, in my opinion they precisely started from the introduction of facebook. However, I could see that from 2000 things were getting increasingly difficult. Now, with the #metoo era, it’s getting worse at an astounding rate.

I think you’re right, but to that I would also add the awareness of having the laws increasingly in their favour. Women have always costed way more than their real value, but I see almost a direct proportion between rights and freedoms awarded and increase in woman’s cost. Going MGTOW is the only viable defense, from a safety standpoint and an economic one.
