This could easily be in the political area, but I wanted to focus on the implied norms put on everyone, and the push on social values. I just picked an ad by Hillary Clinton here, but you see other candidates do the same:

The implication here is your path is to have a family and kids, and the whole get married. It is spun as something wonderful. Our success is by having kids and how they do. This is the social norm. This is what is pushed. If you want to have kids, that is your choice, but the whole have kids is the other part of the being pushed on men to “man up”.

Anyhow, just my 2 cents. If you reply here, please focus on this topic in general, and feel free to post other ads where the whole get married, and have kids, and so on, are based on this.

It is all thats pushed on young men is to find a good job after highschool or college, get married and have children. No scientific pursuits,living life as an indpendent person. Having fun in life is some how shirking manly responsibility in feminist eyes. Codependancy and dependancy is all thats glorifed by these people pushing the agenda of shackling men up in the plantation.

As a younger adult, I am the only one of my friends who sees nothing wrong with not having relationships marriage or sex if I dont want to.

I see it pushed on lots. They are losing willing canidates for marraige due to the feminist cycle of women (courrosel,wall,simp marraige,divorce rape, repeat) and the divorce results for men. So they have to bolster numbers somehow. To do it through social programming from birth and making it a societal norm, they believe to have an unlimited maintained stock of men and that women can continue the courrosel ride and other feminist bulls~~~ without reporcution.

MGTOW is a thorn in the side of their plan.

So if the goal of life is to start a family and make sure your children are successful and their goal is to make sure their children are successful and so on, it doesn’t make to much sense for generations to dedicate their lives to a never-ending marry go round. It was a long time ago that I decided I didn’t want a wife or family, so I worked all the time and was dedicated to my job. Then I was laid off in 2008 and it hit me that I was wasting my time. With no family, why was I knocking myself out? Why dedicated myself to an employer that had no respect for me? Just like a relationship. These days I do just enough to not get fired and use the rest of my time to pursue the things I am interested in.
They want us on that work, consume,work,consume treadmill and I refuse to let that be my life anymore.

What is useful is that, if you work a lot, you manage your money, and use that money to acquire assets that will produce more money, and then start a get out of dependence cycle. Have some fun along the way, but break out of stuff.
