I know that I tend to go on about it too much, but here’s something I found that is informative and entertaining! It’s an SP simulation video!

For those who’ve experienced SP, it’s very hard to convince others how realistic and absolutely terrifying a SP episode can actually be. When you watch the video, keep in mind that you’re ‘awake’, aware of what’s happening around you and you can’t move or fight back!

    Enjoy… 😀

(And this is a short video that explains what happens during SP)

Yeah, I know. You’d really have to have an episode yourself to truly understand. But check out the video ‘Shadow People’…

    Alien Abductions and Sleep Paralysis

Brian Sharpless is a psychologist who has studied SP, wrote a couple of books and he gives this lecture. He discusses ‘alien abductions’ (minute 26:00 to 31:50). Before it was space aliens, people used to think that they were being abducted by ‘fairies’ (no mention though of anal probing fairies)…

How about fairies who like to be anally probed ? hahaha

Sorry, I don’t have anything constructive to add to this thread. But it doesn’t sound fun at all.

I thought I had sleep paralysis once.

But it turned out that on that night, it was just the 11 beers, two shots of Jager, a 750mg Methocarbomol, 10mg Vicodin, a few mushrooms and three bong hits I took before going to sleep.

With that being said. It was a wild ride. I was completely freaking knocked out. And had the most insane and realistic dream ever. Like I was in it and every aspect of it was crystal clear and detailed. Absolutely insane on every level and when I woke up, felt like I had lived 2 – 3 years within that dream. Remembering everything about it, even down to the specific conversations I had with Maurice and Caeser. I even broke down in tears after waking up, and recalling the night (in the dream) when I had to say goodbye and Maurice hugged me and said he considered me to be like a brother.

In the dream, I was in the world of Planet of the Apes. And had joined forces with the apes to defeat humans. As I had lost all hope for humanity. Caeser and Maurice grew to trust me and a strong bond was formed. One night at our camp, I played Metallica’s Fade to Black on acoustic guitar around the fire, we shared our lives together and became like a family. I was living in peace amongst the higher evolved primates.

Then one day during one of our raiding missions into a human encampment, things got real and we lost a few apes. I went on a rampage, Rambo style and was about to clear a small house when I kicked down a door into a room.

And inside was Teagan Presley. Former porn chick back when there was a human civilization. I held back an ape that was going to kill her until Caesar arrived and I explained to him what was going on and negotiated with him and Maurice during a council meeting to spare her.

And she was grateful so we banged alot in the weeks after that and she stayed at our base camp.

As time went on, I knew that me and Teagan could not stay with the apes forever and the world was changing. Eventually, we had to say goodbye and I had completed work restoring a sailboat that would get us to an abandoned island in the Pacific. Away from everything and guaranteeing that we would have no influence on the apes and their long term plans for rebuilding civilization and a new world. It would be their world and one that was free of humans.

On that final night, Maurice (the orangutan from the movies) hugged me and said he considered me to be a brother then Caeser and me fist bumped before Teagan and I left on the sailboat.

In closing. I wish I could do drugs on that level combined with alcohol more often. It was almost like I induced some kind of lucid dream state altered reality and breached the barriers holding my own consciousness back.

I’ll never forget that dream. The entire experience taught me alot about myself and was something I wish I could be in again.

In one of the previously linked videos, they mention that ‘drugs-n-alcohol’ can induce Sleep Paralysis. It’s seems to be a factor in lucid dreaming too! I find that interesting….

The fear is hard to describe to anyone who has never experienced a SP episode. It’s very different (and much worse) than the fear you experience when you’re fully conscious and awake. When you’re awake, you can control and manage your fear. During SP that control just isn’t there. And being ‘paralyzed’ seems to make the fear more intense too…
