Here’s a great song by the Oberlin Choir that captures the mentality of women today in a hilarious Onionesque way.

It was written as political satire against feminists who were protesting a feminist who is actually about equality and the addition of logic to discussions of the sexes, Christine Hoff Sommers.

American feminism is currently dominated by a group of women who seek to persuade the public that American women are not the free creatures we think we are,” she writes. Such feminists have “alienated and silenced women and men alike.”

That video had me doubled over with laughter.

 

After teaching for several years at a post-secondary institution, I can say that it is frightfully close to the truth.  Sadly, that thinking is encouraged by administrators believe the solution to any problem is hand-holding, soothing words, and ample reassuring cuddles.  Barf!
