By their logic dressing up as a zombie is racist. Why? Because the original idea of a zombie came from Africa from voodoo as a mindless being affected by magic. George A Romero took the idea of a brain dead mindless being and combined it with the eating aspect of a vampire and the apocalyptic setting from I am legend for Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead and thus began what we now know as the Zombie Apocalypse genre.
