Im sorry for the very random question…

If you click on Forums on the top right hand corner of the page. It brings up different photos for each forum.
I was looking at the photo for the “MGTOW Questions and Answers forum” with much interest as its not often you see a typewriter these days.
I was trying to figure out what different buttons and levers on the typewriter did? Then I noticed, is that typewriter in Russian !

Interesting question. Quite possibly. I just looked up the Russian Alphabet and there is a “reverse N” looking character for H. And it’s not rare to see an “x” in the middle of a word.

    Good eye!

Maybe our esteemed member Russky (or another) can chime in on this.

In Russian, the Х makes the sound of an English H—well, not quite. It’s closer to the -ch in “Loch-ness monster”

The И makes the sound of ee in feel.

    Don’t f~~~ing ask me what ь or ъ do; it’s a goddamn mystery.
