I’m no fan of China and their crap products, but this was interesting because MGTOW seems to be perceived by many as a response to Western women and society only.

It’s a great idea. ..I’m surprised that capitalism didn’t have it before communist China. .

I first found out about it the day before yesterday when saw an email from local event promoter about it.
Not sure how it works in China- if they really celebrate singlehood or is it more like a day of mourning and sympathy for poor single people, but I assumed that in the US – if I went to that party – there would be a general sadness and sorrow in the air of poor single souls going to a singles party trying to find a mate. F~~~ that.- I don’t need no raising awareness awareness or sympathy

What I took from this, and I might be wrong, is that this started as a “Anti-Valentine’s” day where people said f~~~ LTRs, I rather be single and spend my money on myself. And 9 billion in 12 hours send a big F~~~ You to the 18 billion spent in the whole world on the full day of Valentine’s day.
And yes, it’s funny how such an individualistic “invention/action” came from communist China.

Wow. I had no idea the Chinese consumer market could hit this level.

I adopted singles day about 3 years ago, and currently have a tradition of buying a new gun. I’m not big on buying more crap, and I don’t believe I need to “reward myself” for any s~~~ that basically comes down to “I’m alive.”

But then I look at how much I spend through the year on holiday s~~~, and it’s not much. When single, there’s no pressure for many holidays. I don’t go out and “party” on New Years, don’t feel pressured to go anywhere for labor day. Is it me or has mothers day become “congratulations for being a woman” whether they have a kid or not? More money down the tube there. Thankfully my family jumped off the gift giving train for Christmas. We call each other, and that’s it.

Does being single really save that much money? I think that’s up to the person, but it always seemed like it was the woman pushing me into arbitrary “celebrations” I hated going to. The money I spend on singles day isn’t a whole lot in comparison.

    Single’s day is everyday!
As I walk through this life looking at all the carnage and turmoil that surrounds AWALT, I’m reminded of all the misery and suffering I’m NOT part of!

I don’t have to go to court for a manly castration!
I don’t lay awake at night wondering where it all went wrong!
I’m NOT carving away my wealth to be plundered by a narcissistic lunatic!
I’m NOT living in constant defense!
I’m NOT wasting thought process, and precious time in the ridiculous monotony of relating to a foul and wayward women (AWALT).
I am smashing the machinery of feminism in all aspects of my life, my mind, my property, and my soul!
I “LIVE” purging the filthy atrocities of feminism that inundate my daily life!

FEMINISM: A woman’s “RIGHT” to utterly destroy a man!
MGTOW: A man’s “RIGHT” to disengage.
