Turns out, surprise surprise, that many single mothers have been ripping off the system, claiming to be single while riding a blue-pill chump or two on the regular and living with them. Government data shows single mothers to be the biggest cheats of all welfare recipients –

Here in the USA, we should seriously have welfare reform before we go bankrupt. We can’t even afford to pay for Social Security and Medicare, but the social justice warriors want to bring in a whole bunch of impoverished immigrants who will end up being subsidized in some way (food stamps, rent vouchers, health care).

By “reform” I hope you mean complete abolition of all entitlement payouts, medicare, medicaid, social security, and all programs not explicitly in the Constitution, combined with a total moratorium on citizenship except to those who are born to US citizens. I have mixed feelings about this. When they first introduced welfare in the US, the single mother rate among black families was 5%. When they instituted welfare, at first all families got it.

Then they decided that no male should get welfare so they limited it to single mothers and their children.

Faced with these incentives, black families broke up but the father stayed. They got divorced on paper.

The children still had a strong male role model at home.

When the authorities got wind that “fraud” was happening they sent around inspectors. With these incentives the women kicked out the children’s fathers.

When women were free to practice hypergamy there was no putting the genee back in the bottle.

Now the single mother rate in the black community is greater than 80% and black men make up the vast majority in our prison population.

Something has to be done to stop fraud without destroying families. Sometime men need help too. Maybe we should make welfare include entire families instead of incentivising women to dump the fathers of their children.

Terrible idea. It’s time to rip off the band-aid. We simply can’t afford it. The loss of life from doing it now will be much lower than the loss of life that comes downstream when the entire system crumbles under the unfunded liabilities.

Anything that makes men and women mutually dependent would decrease the single parent rate in my opinion. That includes and maybe emphasizes the need for complete elimination of welfare.

Remove the financial incentive for women to have children and I think you’d be surprised by how many accidental pregnancy’s will no longer take place.

There may be exceptions to the rule and for woemn that do fall pregnant by mistake and are destitute, they could apply for ‘hardship support’ (I made that that up), but the women has to be basically homeless in order to qualify and even then, the financial support would be limited and temporary.

If you are on welfare for more than a brief period of time between jobs, then you have effectively ruined your family already. Just look at the stats of where most social ills originate. The vast majority are incubated in homes with single mothers that are on public assistance.

So how about this, if you have a child and cant afford to raise it, we the state will take the child from you…….and put it in a group home and provide for that child until it becomes an adult. The child only.

The irresponsible and immature person who gave birth to this unfortunate being can go pound sand. One these women realize the child will not provide them with a single penny of assistance, they won’t have them.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.

All they need to do is make welfare a loan. Let them have help when they have minors if they want it. In fact, make it easy to get. Once they no longer have a minor under their care though, hit them with an extra 10% tax or something every year when its tax return time. Either let them pay it for life, including out of their eventual social security payments, or up until they pay back the balance of what they took from the system + a token amount of interest.

Problem with these programs is they are simply considered “free” money by the people scamming the government. There should be a lot more strings attached to welfare programs…if you don’t like the stipulations, don’t sign up for them. Nobody is forcing you to put yourself in a s~~~ty situation in life, or to apply for welfare programs.

That’s a high risk loan. No income verification needed because they probably have no income.

No credit checks.

Hitting them with penalties and higher tax will discourage them from entering the workforce (not that they will anyway).

Single mum’s don’t operate as part of the system. They are the parasites that are funded by the system.
