    (The Film)

Something about this flick always intrigues me. The contrast and dynamic between the two main characters, their friendship, the opposing strengths, weaknesses, that they both bring to the table, and the oppopsing problems they both have is intriguing to me on a philosophical and psychological level.

Similar to The Godfather. Casino. Or other films. Sometimes they speak to you. Anyway, I thought this was a cool place for me to bring this up. Any thoughts or abstraction on the concepts would be cool.

    As always, thanks duuudes.

I enjoyed that movie. I do like how they teamed up to overcome the women in their lives. You have made me want to see it again, thanks!

    Roydal,

Thanks for the reply. Whats intiguing to me is the opposing strengths and weaknesses between the two main characters. One (paul giammati) is an intellectual. By contrast, his friend is a fly by his pants bachelor. In the end you discover they both have their own set of problems as a result of their behaviors.

    I find it very interesting.

I’m glad to chime in. I’m both a movie buff and a wine buff. There were plot twists that did not ring true to life, but this is a comedy movie, not a documentary.

Yes, the way the two men interacted carried the movie. Seeing them interact is a real treat. The movie can be watched as a lesson: Take the red pill now, before they capture you and make you a domestic servant!

Saw it on TCM for the first time about a year ago. A terrific film…
