I decided to finally upgrade my membership and post an introduction as my lurking apparently discomfits the hypersensitive forum members.
I am in my early 50’s, never married, never cohabited, no children, and work as a geotechnical engineer in the construction industry out in the field among the mud and heavy equipment.
“The Great Siamese” is a reference to a large, middle aged Siamese cat that became frustrated with a cat lady who was keeping him and decided to attack her, her husband, and their numerous other cats. I adopted him and he bonded with me as Siamese cats are known to do and is a good cat.
I was raised blue pill, religious, trad con and had a rude serving of red pills in college from a former tennis player hitting the wall at transonic speed. She was wallinated by her sophomore year, I had discarded her long before.

I’m surprised you managed to come to the conclusion that AWALT from one wallinated tennis player; most guys (including me) are slow learners at the sort of thing, and have several goes at it, since hope springs eternal.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.

Welcome Siamese. The discomfort of many forum members is due to the large number of attacks and attempts at infiltration here. The challenge is two fold here, we want to help men who find their way here, but sometimes that help is difficult as each is going their own way, which many disagree upon which way is the right way (no way, in my opinion, to each their own).

As long as you are true to yourself, go your own way and take a NFG approach to what others think, you’ll be fine, whether here or elsewhere.

    Welcome.

No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.

The tennis player didn’t bother to conceal any of her manipulative behavior, in fact, she bragged to me about how she could manipulate anyone, myself included. I quickly realized that she was toxic and to be avoided, but the emotional aftermath took months to work through.
I wasn’t convinced that AWALT from that experience, but I no longer tolerated any BS which meant that I quickly dumped women after that and I think that females can sense that I don’t tolerate BS.
Reading on this site has made sense of my experiences over the years, and I count myself fortunate.

    Welcome Great Siamese.
I have noticed you lurking for several weeks or more.

    I saw no harm.

Nice you come out of the shadows though.

    Welcome!

I have a Siamese cat, too… she was always an absolute nervous wreck, until my (now ex-) wife left. Now the cat is much calmer and friendlier, even though my ex always claimed that she was better with animals! Even my cranky rooster lets me pick him up with hardly a complaint.

    Greetings GS,

When I was in my twenties, I was seriously considering becoming a Geotechnical Engineer, but ended up choosing Mechanical (HVAC-R). Most of my Pals at work, including myself, had weekend “get-a-ways” out in nature and we dreamed of finding work that gets us outside more.

So, you learned your lessons early and you sound like a Natural Born MGTOW which is a heterosexual man that is immune to the charms and manipulation of women.
Congratulations, you must have a great life.

All of the Natural Born MGTOWs that I have been fortunate to meet in person are amazing men and my life is richer for knowing them.

It is interesting how being a MGTOW Monk for ten years will make a man truly rich (mental, spiritual, physical, financial). That’s how I paid off the mortgage on my home and now live debt free. And MY TIME is mine to do with as I wish.

Alas, it took me a lot more Red Pills to wake up to “Women’s Nature.”
My Twenties and early thirties were wasted in Blue Pill Hell.
Thankfully, my foolishness is long behind me and I am very happy to be on the MGTOW Road.

What happens when a man finally comprehends the cold and calculating thoughts that are going through a woman's mind, while her eyes are brimming with tears?

Welcome the ThegreatSiamese. I’m glad one cat got saved from all the torture they receive from cat women. As for the former tennis c~~~, I see she wasn’t able to manipulate the wall, guess she’s not as good at manipulating as she thought she was, oh well, serves her right, cheers.

    Cheers

The wall was quick and brutal with her, so bad, in fact, that she was openly ridiculed by other student who lived on the same dormitory floor. She was like a penny sitting on the tracks in front of this giant locomotive.

Not a cat guy, but I’m thinking your cat is awesome.

It changes the dynamic between you and the employer when you tell them that you don’t live paycheck to paycheck and can easily take months off of work at a time. The smart employers accept that I don’t want or need to work a lot of hours.

I have two Siamese and Maine Coon mix, I take them for walks and they follow me without a leash. The neighbors are dumbfounded when they see the cats happily following me down the street. They hang out when I talk with a neighbor and then follow me home. It must drive the two crazy cat ladies who live on the street even more insane.
High quality cat food, medical care, and being cared for as a pet, not a furry emotional tampon changes some cats into wonderful creatures. They also get large on high animal protein foot. My Siamese is 18lbs of muscle compared to 8lbs for a normal cat.

I have absolutely no problem with women at this stage of my life.
I am preparing for my last move. Instead of being a urban hermit, I will b living in a small village & going full Monk.
What I mean by full Monk is as little contact with women as possible.
Thank you for your intro. You sound like a pretty interesting guy. I consider you & guys like you as extremely fortunate.
Before I woke up I was on the street with a garbage bag full of clothes.
By the way, the garbage bags in that picture at least have a function & valuable.
    Again, thanks.

Welcome Great Siamese, glad you joined us.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.
