How does one invest in immigrants? Is the idea to have government programs to assist them improve their worth? When the idea is starve the beast, austerity, and continuing to cut tax rates so there is no money, there is no investing in anything by the government, but unleashing freedom, and letting those with the money (you know “the winners”) decide what is best for society, regardless of what people without money may want otherwise. Along the way, multinational corporations, which are now legally seen as people, get to shape governments the way they choose.

In regards to nationalism, there is no “investing” in immigrants. What there is, is keeping them all out, because foreigners are the bad ones, and all patriotic citizens are the good ones, and the government needs to protect these people.

With America, maybe it is time it ship the Statue of Liberty back to France, or Mexico, make America first so that it may be great again… or something.
