Everybody I’ve met in life is somehow trying to highlight the qualities that make them different for validation, ironically making them them the same as every other person trying to do so.
If you have to TRY, you are not different
If you ARE different, you don’t TRY to be.You can bring a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
Like with the whole tattoo thing.

Anonymous54I allways say, just be yourself.

We all are going to grow old and die, mine as well enjoy the roller coaster ride all the way down to the bottom.
No man came back from the grave to make our life a living hell, we kinda do that to ourselves to a degree.
You are free to make whatever choice you want, you are not free from the consequences of that choice.
Have a beer on me!.
I call this phenomenon the conformity of diversity. In order to be “diverse” one must conform to the fad definition of diverse. Obviously the two are contradictory; like diversity and equality. You can’t have both.

Absolutely Pistol Pete. If you are truly diverse then you are walking a path alone. People genetically are predisposed to “herd” and therefore will always associate with others of the same look, viewpoints, opinions … you pick the criteria. Diversity fails everytime you gain a larger perspective of the social group, it then becomes the norm.

I agree. Tattoos are the lowest form of virtue signaling there is.
I have never understood advertising saying this is the most popular what ever. Good reason not to buy that one. Ever why all “Bikers” wear black? I don’t like black, never have, I don’t wear black. Everyone is all excited about those AR-15 black rifles. I just scored on a Trapdoor Carbine. Yup, I’m feeding her Black too. My scooter is an old shovel, has a kick start too. Get a newer one? Hell no, old stuff is cooler.
Go on run with the crowd, all the sheeples are there! Me? I GMOWOATHKEEPERS, not on our watch. MOLON LABE
In the British Army, other ranks being considered for a commission are likely to fail if they have tattoos.
As explained to me by a senior officer:
Tattoos are fashionable, a herd thing. It’s the one who refuses, who goes against the herd and is not afraid to be unpopular, who is the leader.
I allways say, just be yourself.
Most people don’t even know what that means. Esp when women put it in the context to men.
“Just be yourself”
So be a shy, introverted, beta simp? How is that working?
“Just be yourself while I f~~~ Chad”
That’s more like it.
“Just be yourself, eventually someone will come and “settle” with you before they claim your s~~~.”
I’ve always hated the concept of doing “the in thing”. I like what I like and do what I do because that’s who I am, not because anyone else is doing it or liking it. I’ve been criticized because I’m not like everyone else, or because I don’t do the same things as everyone else and that makes me want to walk away from what’s supposed to be “normal” even more.
Just because everyone else is doing it doesn’t make it right. I don’t need anyone’s acceptance.
The evil in women’s hearts leaves them no moral bounds as to inhibit them from descending to the lowest levels of darkness to acquire their self entitled desires.
That’s what’s “unique” about MGTOW, aside from a couple core beliefs, EACH MAN IS CHOOSING HIS OWN PATH.

Anonymous38It’s a marketplace, everybody is ‘selling’ themselves hoping to attract the best buyer.
Not MGTOW. We achieve uniqueness without doing anything.

Anonymous1It is differentiating within a narrow set. Like changing the color from light blue to sky blue.
No two people are the same and Vertex
knows this.Can’t fool me.
HA! HA! HA! HA!
I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.

Anonymous42No two people are the same
That’s not what the voices in my head say!

Anonymous9If you have to TRY, you are not different
If you ARE different, you don’t TRY to be.But if you want to become something you are not right now or you want to be different, you have to try to be that first, until being that becomes familiar and normal to you.
Fake it till you make it.
