This would be un-f~~~ing-believable if we didn’t know it was so common.

25 year old woman convicted of sex with five boys under her care from 15-17 (ie she’s a rapist) at a school and she walks free with time served because such an ‘immature’ woman should not have been put in that situation.

Seriously – she is the poor victim of these predatory schoolboys. Wtf??? And of course her identity is being suppressed, despite the conviction, because she’s the real victim here.

LINK here, and since it may be a paywall for some folks, full article below.

Woman, 25, given suspended sentence for sexual abuse of Armidale School students
    By Angus Thompson

A former female staff member of a prestigious school has walked from court after being handed an “extraordinarily lenient” suspended jail sentence for having sex with five male students in her care.

NSW District Court acting judge Christopher Armitage said a “toxic culture” had developed in The Armidale School boarding house in which the 25-year-old woman slept with students aged between 15 and 17 after inviting them into her room in late 2014 and 2015.

Judge Armitage said it was “difficult to see” how an immature young woman of her age and experience was chosen to sleep overnight in a boarding house with young teenage males.

“The potential for trouble of precisely the kind that occurred was, I think, obvious,” Judge Armitage said.

The young woman, whose identity has been suppressed, has already spent 14-and-a-half months in custody during court proceedings over the prolonged abuse.

She pleaded guilty in April to six counts of sexual intercourse with a person under her care and three counts of aggravated sexual intercourse in the midst of a second NSW District Court trial after a hung jury in the first trial.

Judge Armitage gave the woman a two-year suspended sentence, and placed her on a good behaviour bond for two years. She will also be placed on the sex offenders register.

“You have received an extraordinarily lenient sentence for what you did,” Judge Armitage said in sentencing the woman.

The woman was convicted of all charges, and walked free from court on Monday afternoon.

Judge Armitage said that while it “may seem like an extraordinary concession” in the face of the offending, “this offender is not a vehicle for a stern sentence”.

“The offending occurred in extremely unusual circumstances in the context of a very small age difference between the offender and her victims,” Judge Armitage said, adding later that the woman herself was “extremely psychologically vulnerable”.

It follows evidence by the woman’s mother that the school didn’t take “correct responsibility for the affair” and employed a “junior, unqualified member of staff” in the boarding house without appropriate support.

“My family’s deepest and greatest regret is the trust we placed in The Armidale School,” the mother said.

Giving evidence last week, the former staff member – who was training to be a teacher at the time – claimed she was blackmailed by threats that she would be exposed if she didn’t keep having sex with the boys.

“At the time I was going along with what I thought was going to keep them happy,” the woman said on Friday.

But in sentencing the woman on Monday, Judge Armitage refused to believe she acted under duress.

“She is – has been – from the moment it started, incredibly remorseful,” the woman’s mother said in the witness box.

Isn’t in Australia a court ruling supposed to set a precedent?
If it’s so, and just only as long as the law will be gender-neutral, then judge mangina have actually created a chance to get a free pass for men doing the same.
The obiouvs consequences of that are: they’ll try to switch to gendered laws, in order to keep punishing men while also keeping the front hole pass for women.
Hopefully, the rise of gendered laws will wake up a lot of men.

She walks away more or less scot-free. Name kept out of the media. At her age she could just leave that place off as previous employed. For her nothing more then a quick ride on the teen age dick carousel.
Damn one heck of a pussy pass.

    Pussy pass granted madam.

This might indeed make interesting case law but it is still a sad thing to see a pussy pass handed out.

she walks free with time served because such an ‘immature’ woman should not have been put in that situation.

Yet a 19 year old boy has consensual sex with his 17 year old girlfriend and he is mature enough to be charged with rape.
I really wish I knew how many pussy passes were in a standard deck.

Feminism isn't about equality with men, it's about leverage over men.

Judfes likemthis and the rapist bitches all need to hang. They tug each other off in court and get no punishment at all.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

“You have received an extraordinarily lenient sentence for what you did,” Judge Armitage said in sentencing the woman.

You know it’s bad when even the JUDGE HIMSELF admits to doing his job half-assed.

“The potential for trouble of precisely the kind that occurred was, I think, obvious,” Judge Armitage said.

Because it’s not like the woman could’ve possibly acted like a responsible adult and kept things professional.

“this offender is not a vehicle for a stern sentence”.

Why not, judge? Seriously, WHY NOT?

It follows evidence by the woman’s mother that the school didn’t take “correct responsibility for the affair”

So it’s the school’s fault now? Did they whisper in her ear every morning “Be a perv”?

claimed she was blackmailed by threats that she would be exposed if she didn’t keep having sex with the boys.

Ahh, so the boys bullied her into submission by threatening to expose her first seduction. How dare they treat their molester so poorly?!

“At the time I was going along with what I thought was going to keep them happy,” the woman said on Friday.

Saying no was simply out of the question? Refusing further trysts – and being exposed was just the one – was far less practical than riding those teenage beauties and being exposed for several more?

And since when did women give a s~~~ about making boys happy?

“She is – has been – from the moment it started, incredibly remorseful,” the woman’s mother said

    My. ARSE.

Oh, and ten years is suddenly a “very small gap”. Got that, 16-year-old girls everywhere? Now go help yourself to a six-year-old.

    Blauuggh.
