This woman was texting about dinner while driving and now a pedestrian is now dead. She couldn’t put down the phone, or pullover somewhere; no, and now someone is dead! Texting is one of those things that should never of been invented, because it did for harm than good!

A women driver knocked me off a bicycle almost 30 years ago – she had apparently passed her driving test only the day before – almost killed me – injured my back – ended a promising career in soccer – she was looking at me for 5 seconds while driving beside me and then cut directly across the front of my bike trying to take a left turn ahead – i flew across the bonnet about 12 feet and hit the tarmac – she was incompetent had no clue whether to take the turn or not and just cut me off – i wasnt going fast yet luckily i had started to slow down even more at her insane driving otherwise it surely would have been worse.

Another time a woman driving slow then speeded up dramatically and tried to race me while I passed her out on the passing out lane (which is specifically designed to allow traffic to pass slow traffic) – she had kids in the back – crazy woman.

Yeah I am sick of the “importance” of cell phones. Nothing is that important that it couldn’t wait a few minutes. In addition to drivers, pedestrians are just as bad doing something on their cell phone while walking not paying attention at all.
I almost hit a girl the other day that came walking out from between parked cars without looking at all. I am glad I pay attention and was able to stop. The person on the phone was oblivious. I pulled over to where they were walking towards and had to yell to get their attention and I mentioned how they had seriously nearly died a minute ago. Completely oblivious to anything but herself. HATE IT.

Whem automonous vehichles arrive there will be HUNDREDS of deaths and accidents like this.
I know it for a fact!
The industry I worked in had remote control. In 2 yrs time no less than 20 people died because of them.
Eventually, everyone becomes AWARE, but in the initiaal stages many have died.
Think I will ust stay away from those things until ppl get used to them.

Only drive to work and back, then after that, retire.
