Sacrificed my life goals and dreams at the altar of her narcissistic terms to stay with me.

Ignored the infidelity, eventually coming to accept it and blaming myself.

If I paid any and all bills associated with maintaining access to her vagina including the mortgage, vacations, etc.

Allowed myself to whither away emotionally, psychologically and spiritually as serving her became a primary focus and meaning of my existence.

And as long as I invested what was left of my soul in providing her with the attention, adoration and worship she required to continue the relationship.

I am quite surprised that men haven’t devised ways to objectively filter out the true nature of the female they associate with processing her behavior/actions on a higher cerebral level than believing her words.

I suspect on an evolutionary level we have that built-in self-serving radar that guys often call ‘I had the gut feeling’.

Social engineering and feminine-friendly impressionalism to serve their needs has short-circuited our in-built analytical centres.

I finally made it back to civilization. I spent a few months living in a plane hanger at a drop zone. Had absolutely no internet, television or contact with the outside world. And almost non existent cell phone service. I had to drive six miles just to get enough of a signal to check my voicemail.
