I agree that beta orbiter and backup are clearly in the plans. I’d also say that she’s looking to make her BF jealous. In her head, if BF believes she has options, then he’ll be behave better. Easier to manage. Perhaps she feels BFs been taking her fro granted lately, and she just wants to give him a wake up call.

One big difference between men and women. If a man finds out a woman wants him that he’s not interested in….he will distance himself from her. He doesn’t want to feel guilty, nor does he want her to suffer. A woman on the other hand, will always continue the contact. She feels no guilty at the possibility of ‘leading you on’, and doesn’t give a crap about whether or not the guy is suffering.

IMO, don’t tell her what you want. She’d rather have you pining for her, yes, but in her head, she’s now going to claim that you are emotionally immature and can’t handle friendship with a woman. Oh she is definitely a pretty young thing and I would love to do more than straddle her, but I’ll not put forth much effort with these dumb broads, not anymore, not like I used to when I was young.
