I was on Investopedia and they had an article about Harry’s. Apparently Gillette is jumping on this with their Gillette Shave Club.
I am currently a member of the Dollar Shave Club and I am completely happy. I am loving their products and I find they deliver on their advertised promise.
I am not sure about Harry’s. They seem to be a little too over the top for me, but the proof is in the pudding.
The Gillette Shave Club seems to me that Gillette is just jumping on the bandwagon. I don’t see any real savings, and I just don’t see the point. What do you guys use for your daily shave? Do you use any of the above Club Services? If you do, are you satisfied? If you don’t, would you use one of the above Club Services, and why would you pick the one you pick?
Let’s be honest, when it comes to shaving, no matter how you dress it up, it sucks. You’re scraping a sharp metal object across your face to cut off hair. You get itchy and irritated later no matter what “product” you use. All so we can fit in a box called professionalism.
Of all of these, do you guys subscribe.

Well after looking at Dollar Shave Club VS. Harry’s VS. Gillette Shave Club I would avoid the Gillette Shave Club* (Get used to asterisks, their site is full of them!)
When it comes to Dollar Shave Club verses Harry’s, here is the breakdown:

I shave once a week so I don’t end up with a full beard, which happens in less time. Still use store bought as I loath monthly service plans.
I thought what I'd do was I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes...or should I?
I don’t like razors. I use electric shaver. Works fine for me.

I buy from Harry’s, but am not a club member. For a few cents more I get to choose if, when, what and how much to buy, thank you very much!
Harry’s products are good, this includes the actual razor (heavy, nice feel in hand), blades (not the best, but very good once you get used to holding them right), and the various creams and balms they have (again good but not the best. Refreshing scents).
Anyway, hope this helps. The answer is NO. “I could but I won’t”. Memini murum!
I shave once a week.
I use my hair clippers and then a Bic disposable razor.
I shave in the shower or sometimes dry shave.

I wish I had the genes just to grow a complete mustache & beard and let it keep growing. But, I don’t. I’m mostly native american and whenever I let my facial hair grow out, it just grows out in random patches on my face.
I just use cheap razors and shaving cream. I really hate shaving in general. It’s just annoying as f~~~.
I just use clippers, and only when I get bored of my beard, then it all goes off, leaving me with a light stubble.

A shaving club? Sounds silly.
I shave my face, chest, shoulders and back anytime they start to look rough. I want to shave those areas because I want to look as if I’m still young and smooth. I seen what my dad looks like when he had a full beard in his late 30s, and he looked the same age then as he does now (60).
I hate shaving to be honest with you, that’s why I only do it when it gets real bad. I get itchy, scratchy, and just doing it is a chore in itself. I wish I had the money to get my hairs removed forever, because I want to look smooth from upper lip to waste, except my forearms.
I use the Gillette Fusion with the 5 blades, and sometimes blades from Aldi, which are bad because they over sharpen them and it cuts deep, plus it has a lip below the blades which makes it hard to get an even shave.

Anonymous11Braun electric twice daily. I have to look professional at all times so electric is good enough and quick.
There is still something special about a wet shave. I do it on Sundays. F~~~ing blades are like smoking crack these days.
This Batman doesn’t shave. Only use a razor to clean up the neck maybe once a week.

F~~~ disposable junk. I use a 5/8 singing blade, but for only $60 this is a good starter razor. Get yourself a strop and stone and you’re set for life.

Man, I am a history geek and I bought a straight razor at a flea market…let’s just say it took a lot to convince the ER MD it wasn’t a suicide attempt (it wasn’t ).

Yeah, beware flea market deals unless you really know what you’re doing. Your blade needs to be perfectly straight and flat and sharp or it will bite you. Garage sale razors have usually been abused or neglected to the point of being dangerous.
I use Dollar Shave Club’s basic, two blade razor. I can get three shaves out of one cartridge. They are good enough.
I hate shopping for those kinds of basics so much that I buy nearly everything online.
