Ever had a women say “you promised me the world”, as a way of shaming because she isn’t getting what she wants. She’s nearing 40 and wants kids, I don’t and told her that.  But I also said that I would love to be a father, meaning when I was younger I would have loved to be a dad.  She translates I would love to be a dad to I want to have kids with her.  When I say i don’t want kids because I’m getting older now she pulls the you promised me the world, you promised me kids when I made no “promises”.  Women twist what we say as a form of shaming and control.  Agree, disagree?  Any experience or thoughts with this for the younger guys here.  I’ve been up against these techniques for most of my life and due to a lack of male mentors have had a difficult time figuring out these games.  I’ve realized that I enjoy my freedom, the quiet, nature and being my own man.

The females I have met, without exception, change their minds with the whim of the hour. Even hard core feminists do this with what they state as their core beliefs. All it takes is a change in what suits their convenience at the moment.

What happens if one of those feather in the wind switcheroos goes sour? Why, it’s all some man’s fault!

Oh yes, I’ve heard the “but you promised me” line many times, even though I never made a promise. I don’t do promises with women. Never have and never will.

It’s a shaming tactic that I don’t tolerate. When they say, “but you promised” I calmly tell them that I didn’t make any promises. If they persist, I shame them for trying to shame me – I point out their bulls~~~.

    “You promised me the world”

My only answer to her would be: Life is not a Disney movie…

    Sovereignty above all else.

Having read this for a second time, my advice: RUN! or get a vasectomy. If she wants kids, then an “accident” will likely happen.
