Hello everyone. I apologize for my long absence, I may not be a very present poster but as I said already you guys really contributed to make my life better.

Anyway, last night I had the pleasure to watch this film Shame starring Michael Fassbender, perhaps you remember him for Inglorious Basterds (the British/German spy) and Prometheus (the not so nice cyborg).
This film mainly focuses on the dark side of the “stud life” if we want to call it this way.

Brandon is an average business man in his 30’s with a fairly decent economical situation. unfortunately he can’t stop thinking about sex, in his lonely life he uses his spare time hunting for women usually succeeding thanks to his enigmatic charm , and when there is no pussy, he just relies on porn and masturbation, This habit leads him day by day deeper into misery, realizing that he is just a slave of his instincts.

I do not know how many of you have been there but when my depression was at his peak and after terrible relationships, looking for one night stands was my painkiller together with medications, and just like this character, each time I felt worst and worst.
I do not despise sex and I can’t deny that it’s pretty fun, but like any MGTOW you should never ever put it at the center of your life, you stopped listening to your heart, now stop listening to your penis too, just use the brain. I occasionally like to engage in sexual acts (who doesn’t?) but surely I’m very very far from when I was.

What do you think about it? Share your experience if you have or had this problem, I also recomend to watch that film

Addiction is a bad thing, no matter what the addict is hooked on.

Good habits result from resisting temptation.
