I find it more than curious … In none of the articles or videos did they use the term “MGTOW” or even mention it. In spite of the fact that they are thousands of men and thousands of materials with that label across the internet. Doesn’t anyone else find that odd? If I had to wager a guess, it’s because they don’t want MORE men to wake up. Like many of the guys who arrive here, they have been chosing MGTOW (and living the lifestyle) for a while already, and they have never even heard of a name for it. Then they Google it, arrive here, and we get comments like “OMG!! So glad I found your site!!” … or “I found your site and am so happy to learn I’m not going crazy!!”…

I would throw double down they can’t afford more men to learn about it.
or maybe they don’t know of MGTOW themselves?

Anyone else have that thought?

Nope Key Master it’s not just you i’m recognizing a pattern as well the term MGTOW is often avoided, and this is even when the person knows of the entire movement. I don’t know if it’s because they have a grudge against us, or like you said they may not know about it, but that’s becoming hard to believe considering MGTOW is spreading like a forest fire ! I say give it about 5 years, and the movement will be as mainstream as feminism of course with this you will have…

A. False claimers/Believers.

B. Those that will attempt to bend what it means to be MGTOW, and attempt to corrupt the movement.

C. Men walking around saying they’re MGTOW without doing proper research.

D. Women will attempt to make their own version…regardless of already having feminism, and no need to even go their own way considering they’re the ones holding us back.

Yeah, I’d guess that women and the media do not want to put a name to it because they’re afraid of MGTOW and everything that widespread adoption of this philosophy would mean for them. So they’ll avoid using the name in order to imply that it’s just a few cranks, angry sexless guys, bitter divorced men or “violent mysogynists” who don’t deserve a designation.

Al Qaeda got a name… ISIS got a name… even Gamers got a name <sarcasm> though they’re dead and irrelevant now, you know </sarcasm> But you can’t give MGTOW a name because you name things you can fight against but you can’t fight against the idea that men are free to do what they want.

Best case, they’ll use the name and call it a “movement” and then go looking for the leader so they can chop off his head. I wouldn’t want to be Paul Elam when that day comes.

I’d guess that it has to do with women and manginas absolutely blowing up the moment that they hear “MGTOW”

Perhaps they figured that no one would read / view their article / video if they had MGTOW in it…

On the other hand, most of the secondary sources are just secondary sources… they find whats popular, and essentially copy and paste it.

Part 2 of that Sexodus article does mention MGTOW, so it could be the later 😛
