An article on yahoo about Gillian Anderson being paid less than David Duchovney! So it must be sexism.
    https://uk.tv.yahoo.com/gillian-anderson-on-the–intolerable–sexism-in-hollywood–society-161624078.html#

Upon reading the excellent comment section there are some commentators talking about the PAY GAP.

This Comment by Ken sums it all up in one sentence.

If all or even the majority of women received 77 cents on the dollar for the same work, what rational business would ever hire a man????? Male unemployment would be 77%…….

    thanks Ken.

What else do you expect a whiny half-wit hollywood leftist to say? Whine about some cliched s~~~ that she expects everyone to jump on board with and support because to contradict or question it means you are sexist. I am happy to read that most of the comments in that article were critical of that nonsense she was spewing.

Of course not a word about how men are completely ridiculed in popular culture every day, how male domestic violence is a joke, male rape is a joke, violence deaths of males in movies is not even blinked at, and is often the main story of many films. But slap one woman and there is a collective jaw drop from the audience. We are so blind and tuned out to violence against men in popular culture, sexism against men in popular, that to suggest it one would appear like an alien who just dropped down to earth. No, its all about women owning victimization. They wont even let the sexual abuse and violence against kids upstage them, because its all about the bitches.

Wasn’t David more of the star anyway? His name did come first in the credits plus he was older so he had more acting experience.

That’s a woman for you. That’s like Pamela Anderson thinking she should have gotten paid as much for Baywatch as Jack Nicholson got for Batman just because she’s an “actor” too. But he got paid as much as he did because he’s a better businessman. (emphasis on MAN). He didn’t just “act” better. He negotiated better… which is 100X more admirable considering Pamela Anderson is the one with t~~~.

Christ, nevermind bitchy million-dollar “actresses” who already shouldn’t be getting what they do….. at my local shop there is a guy named “Ivan” who sees me coming, and by the time I have finished paying, my coffee is EXACTLY the way I want it – standing there ready and waiting for me.

One day, he even greeted me BY NAME which shocked the s~~~ of me because he hadn’t exchanged names yet. “I saw it on your credit card”, he said. This tiny gesture makes all the difference, and I will drive extra blocks to get my coffee from Ivan.

But all of the bitches that work there STILL hold up a f~~~ing pen ready to write it on the cup and ask “your name?” with a stupid f~~~ing question mark over their heads. MY NAME, sweetheart, is on the f~~~ing card I handed you, and I already told you hundred days in a row, you unresourceful T~~~.

    “Sexism”, my ass.

Women give s~~~ty service and don’t even belong in the workforce as servers. Men give superior service wherever I drink my coffee. Especially when they don’t know me. I’ve been going there for 4 years and NOT ONE bitch who works there ever has seen me coming and said “Hey Keymaster, the usual today?” or any such effortless gesture to improve moral or quality of service.

The trouble with “equality” is …. these useless bitches get paid the same as Ivan. No matter how hard Ivan tries to make just that LITTLE bit of difference and keep people coming back, “Bethany” will get the same $8 an hour – when she should NOT. Classic example of men picking up the slack where women fail to compete.

When I was at the Starbucks on the corner of Highland and C~~~ (also in Hollywood!), I asked for whole milk, and the f~~~ed up slag at the machine said: “YOU DIDN”T ASK FOR WHOLE MILK!!!”.

I didn’t? Ask the cashier. The correct response when a customer asks for whole milk is “certainly, here you go” not…..

“YOU DIDN”T ASK FOR WHOLE MILK!!!

I over-emphasized the same loud and nagging tone so that EVERYONE could hear it. The entire coffee shop stopped. In this moment, you would think anyone with a modicum of professionalism would offer SOME form of withdrawal. But she adjusted her stance as only Americ~~~s are capable of, held up that goddam index finger, started to move her head from side-to-side, and was about to start lecturing. So I stopped her before she could

DON’T. You should be FIRED. and HOMELESS.”

Everyone heard it – including the manager. And then I left.

Sexism and unequal pay in Hollywood is not just for million-dollar actresses.
Even at coffee shops in Hollywood, women are GROSSLY overpaid.

PS. She doesn’t work there anymore.

female servers can be some of the most sickeningly manipulative and entitled bitches around. go to some restaurants where they are prancing around in tight skirts and heels, being nice to you and all smiles just around the time the cheque arrives, expecting they are entitled to 20% grats for bringing a plate to your table. their take home pay with all the cash tips they don’t claim on taxes can be over 300.00 a night in a decent restaurant, sometimes more than that. But its the kitchen staff doing all the work, from dishwasher, to chef who are in the heat, working with the chemicals, sharp objects, open flames, slippery surfaces with sharp objects but the bitches who carry a plate to a table are getting all the coin. and who are most of the kitchen staff? Men.

Female servers are the “common” examples of what’s going on out there. I don’t really give a f~~~ if some millionaire actress is p~~~ed because she only gets $4 million a movie, and her male co star gets $5 million. Both of them can shut the f~~~ up. That’s like Kim Kunstrashian complaining about the Papparazzi, but those assholes pay her rent. When she got a bag of flower dumped on her head by someone in a crowd, 4 paramedics showed up to help her deal with the “trauma”.

But waitresses, baristas, retail shop workers, movie theatre employees, receptionists, and even HR are all really realistic examples of what the hell is going on out there, and they are CONSISTENTLY over-paid. Including wives and mothers who collect alimony and child support payments from men who aren’t their husbands – or even the FATHER.

Keep your eyes open and EVERYWHERE you turn, women are overpaid.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Not only that, but Batman was a movie while Baywatch as a TV show. More importantly Jack was hired to play the Joker, Batman’s most iconic villain. Pam was hired to play a life guard with big t~~~.

When I first started reading American comics the guy who worked at the comic shop asked me name and e mail my name so he could make a saver ans save me the books I wanted. I told him my name once while in the shop and then he heard again when I replied to the e mail with the books I wanted for the week. When I walked into the comic shop the following week he greeted me by name after only have seen me once. A few years ago he opened his own shop and in less then a year his comic shop had the most customers in the area and he was making the most money. All that is because at the old shop he build up a loyal following because of his great customer service.

I thought Waiters have to share their tops with the cooks, bus boys, and any other kitchen staff? When my friends and I go to Hooters for all you can eat wings and we never over tip the girls no matter what. We often laugh too at all the bros there taking pics with the girls, ordering tons of beer and obviously giving them way too big of tips because they think they like them lol.

From what I understand it varies from place to place. But the most common is that all the tips go into a pot and it gets divided up at the end of the shift. That way everyone has an incentive to work harder.

Every time I find a new regular spot it is always because of great service from a man. Whether it is with personalized service or being efficient and professional it makes an impression on me. I turn I want to frequent that establishment more often. A woman has yet to instill this sense of patronage in me.

That’s the word I was looking for. “Patronage”. Thanks Jambear.

Another time I was in a shop that sold expensive sun glasses and there was a pair I really wanted. They didn’t have the color of lenses I wanted so I offered her my credit card to charge me a deposit so she could order them. She said it wasn’t necessary, I was under no obligation and she would order them and call me.

3 weeks went by and I never heard from her. This is not the first time I was in a shop WITH MY F~~~ING WALLET OPEN ready to buy something and the dumb bitch doesn’t even want to take my money or have the decency to CALL when she says she’s going to. I phone back and she said she couldn’t get them. A total lie, and I gave her s~~~ for not AT LEAST phoning me to tell me that. She’s full of s~~~.

You don’t do that. YOU DONT DO THAT.
If I were the owner and found out the bitch running my shop was too lazy (or “forgot”) to place an order, I would see RED.

Same thing happened at the Apple store when I was buying my iPhone 6. It’s 20 minutes to closing and I have my 5s in my hand ready to trade it in and upgrade. Some Eve holding an Apple says they are not taking any more iPhone sales tonight so close to closing.

NO. You will take my f~~~ing money NOW, or I will phone Cupertino on my iPhone 5….. and tell them how you prevented them from making a profit on an iPhone 6 because you were too lazy to take care of me as I stood in front of you WITH MY WALLET OPEN – with 20 minutes still to spare. If I come in to the store at 8:59 PM you will sell me an iPhone and you’re not going home until you’re done.

This is how you have to talk to these s~~~stains.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Right directly ON! In “ALL” bushiness women just suck! I went into a ski shop to “buy” a new suite, having forgot mine at home, 175 miles(221kilometers) away, the women were more interested in chatting with each other as they ignored my existence,

I had a dirty look on my face (p~~~ed) and the guy waxing skis in the back saw me standing there like a dumb f~~~ing s~~~toad, I was ready to walk out, as I usually do when not “SERVED”, anyway he came out to address my wants, and begun an immediate dialog with me, and we both mutually agreed (without saying a word) these girls were useless and worthless.
Had I decided to leave without service, the whole f~~~ing building would have heard my rants (my default setting).

I have hundreds of stories like this, it’s all to common! I myself look to be served by a man, the service honest, earnest, and just.
