Just bought it and waiting for it(and Kingdom Come Deliverance) to download.

As I understand it, it’s a remake of the first game? I think? Doesn’t really matter since it’s still only in Japanese at the moment, just excited to have a new one to play, and I’ve never played the first one so that’s even better.

It’s basically about a bunch of sexy anime waifu “ninjas” – insofar that Naruto is about “ninjas” – but at the end of the day it’s a nice alternative to stuff like Dynasty Warriors, feels a bit more streamlined and polished in some ways.

There have been some spinoffs; Peach Beach Splash which didn’t really hold my interest as a shooter. I enjoyed Shinobi Refle a bit more as a barebones dating sim but there’s just not much content and apparently no plans to get it translated unfortunately.

Even so, hoping this one will last me a while. Estival Versus took a good amount of time to Platinum so here’s hoping.
