So I’m basing things off this article:
    http://www.scmp.com/week-asia/business/article/2063597/meet-chinese-investor-who-says-female-bosses-are-bad-business

    Pro
Western companies are prioritizing political correctness and affirmative action over profit. Eastern firms, Chinese firms in particular, are significantly less affected by political correctness (mostly because it’s not a democracy) and are not hindered by this.
    Con
I don’t know if China has problems of it’s own. Apparently it’s government-funded cities is causing problems.

    Con
S&P has grown at 8%/year accounting for inflation since its inception. The whole point of index funds is to just buy it and ride everything out.
    Pro
    Even Rome fell

    Con
The best way to invest if you don’t know what you’re doing is to buy a stock and hug it and completely ignore the market
    Pro
One of the aspects of being an investor is that you can influence markets with your money, no matter how little. Move your money where it’s treated best. Let me help kill the western world and it’s unholy union of traditionalism and feminism.

    Opinions?

    Incorrect.

Move your money where it’s treated best

    Correct.

In the long run do not bet against the US Equity market. That said, a pull back is in order. There is a reason oil trades in Dollars and not Yen or Renminbi /aka Yuan/.

Why is that a con? What’s wrong with set it and forget it investing?

    Why is that a con?

I think the OP got his pros and cons a little messed up in this post.

It’s “cons for moving stocks to eastern stocks”.

So this is a con for changing stocks, because there should theoretically be no need to change stocks.

One of the biggest culture shocks to my Chinese students is the culture of political correctness in America. Every time the topic comes up they just shake their heads and say they don’t understand it.

The reason they don’t understand it is because they’re logical and rational.

The stock markets are all interconnect. If a major stock market goes down the rest of the stock markets go down.

If you do not have it on hand, you do not possess it.

This does not count for currency which value is not inheritant to the paper of the currency.

Just buy low and sell high. Take advantage of every opportunity. EVERY OPPORTUNITY!!!

Everything else will work itself out.
