I took a short vacation and was riding a bus in the Los Angeles area. I saw many tents along the freeway and near flood canals. The downtown area has tents on the sidewalk. And in the central valleys, there are many homeless people standing near freeways and holding up signs asking for help. I think many of them have either given up on life or are dealing with drug addiction. In the past 5 years, it seems like the number of homeless people has doubled.

Is there a homeless problem in your area?

Too many panhandlers near me to really tell. Hard to be homeless here though, job market is great.

You want to make me angry? I will take a bite out of that anger and shit out success.

Increase? The s~~~ has sky rocketed and it’s almost all men. I’ve been homeless like 4 or 5 times in my life. Lost count. First time being when I was 19 but technically when I was a baby my mother got screwed over by her father because he was a blue pill cuck who let his bitch step wife control him and through my mother and me out on the streets before I could even really walk. My dad was on the other side of the country working some job on the docks. I was just recently homeless again living in my truck. Trying to go to college and work 2 jobs. Well it didn’t work. My grades bombed and I basically had to quit or get kicked out. Felt like a total waste of time. This society is almost Impossible to crawl your way out of poverty. I was born in poverty and I will probably die in poverty. We will see.

I am in my mid forties and I have seen a steady rise in my state with a big leap after 2007 of course. Every year I notice more street people/beggars. It is getting crazy, there was so little of this when I was a kid in the 70’s and 80’s… All I know from my time alive is that the U.S. is being severely mismanaged on many levels.

S~~~ is looking more and more like a mix of Idiocracy and Elysium by the day.

It’s all in your imagination! From where I sit the problem I peopleless homes! They’re all abandoned and caving in! I go one abutting me and the rest were never built because this subdivision was condemned as a family campground operating illegally.
I don’t need less government! I NEED NO GOVERNMENT AT ALL!

Its definitely increasing in my area. Lots of Tent cities started popping up after 2007. Homeless panhandlers, in formerly affluent neighborhoods. I think this is the “Trickle Down Economy.” All the wealth gets sucked up by the top 0.1% and just a tiny little trickle makes it down to the serfs. Its Feudalism, American style.

I can see why there’s homeless people in Los Angeles. I grew up there and could never afford an apartment. I had to move out of Los Angeles to find work and a place to live. And after years of sharing the rent with room mates, I moved into an apartment.

It was really hard for me to find a job when I got out of the Army. I take it personally when military veterans are not respected in this country—the country they fought for. No veteran should ever be homeless. My society has sinned if they failed to help soldiers make the transition to civilian life.

Yeah, there are homeless people with drug addictions and mental illness.

But never underestimate the unreported amount of men that simply checked out.

Due to a rigged system or more bad breaks than they were willing to continue dealing with.

And don’t judge them unless you have a chance to walk in their shoes.

The current economy is built on a shell game, smoke and mirrors and an illusion:

Hard work no longer gets anyone anywhere.

There are those with real wealth and then their are slaves.

Look closely. It’s right there to see.
