So far this poster has been spraying the essence of angry, paranoid, (probably young), conservative, petrol head all over the place but this is not a real scent. Either the real man behind the perfume screen will gain the confidence to reveal himself in time or not but whatever it is, this is not the natural scent of a man I am sure.

Considering how boys have been raised for the past 20 years, it’s not so unusual to find them acting like women. Raised by single mothers, no role models, no male influence.

Did I hear somebody say Sant Six?

190 and 225 slant six! My favorite engine! I had a 65 Dart with 73 HD suspension and power brakes retrofitted! That f~~~ing car could HANDLE !@##$$!!! Light engine, HD suspension with later model power disk brakes? Brought it from lame to dynamic! I loved that car! I took it EVERYWHERE! It was TRUSTWORTHY! Three speed dual band torque-flight transmission made it one of the only automatics you could “pop start” dropping it into gear after getting it rolling! I wish they made them today! The engine was SIMPLE! They made the slant 6 from 1959 to 1979 They slanted it to fit in cars that had a much lower hood lines compared to prior years reminiscent of inline engines or tall boys. The V8 also lowered the profile and the slant was made to do the same.

All used up beaters when I got them. All 225’s I think.
    Hard times. Used oil.
They just went and went. With out complaint.
    Rust got them all.
All still fired with the tap of a Key.

    Such uncomplaing dependability.

They had an aluminium version put in the Dodge Dart GT with fiberglass fenders and hood straight from the factory! One of those cars is RARE! Choice collector cars!

Some MGBs were aluminum bodies straight from the factory, they were performance editions and they’re supper rare! They made the MGA with aluminum panels and some of their bodies are aluminum too.

If a magnet doesn’t stick to an MG, BUY IT! Unless it’s bondo over cardboard rust replacement panels! In that case DON’T BUY IT!

That’s the saddest part of all for many an old car. RUST.

I didn’t know that about the MGs Tower.

TR 6 you are thinking of Old Sage.
They were nice little sports cars.
Triumph ‘tried’ to improve on it with the TR7 but that was a bit of a disaster.

Mind you they did try to redeem themselves with a V8 version but that wasn’t all that good either.

The TR 6 is probably the best one of the TR range.

They have hydraulic clutch with a direct link to the forks that slide the gears into position, no external linkage, the stick goes straight to the heart of the transmission with a non sincromesh 1st gear, 2,3, and 4 have sincros, 1st is a no no once you get rolling!

Pops walked out on us in 1990, after my adoption. I don’t talk to him either, because all he does is insult me and call me “retarded”.

C~~~bitchface raised us from then on.

I think she blamed me for her husband walking out on us, because I became the default go-to family whipping post

Also, he’s alcoholic, eaten by guilt. That’s why he’s in a senior apartment right now. I have no more time nor patience to deal with s~~~ from people. And I cut my brother out of my life last month for the same s~~~…making me feel less than s~~~. It’s a massive purge of humans out of my life. Currently an ongoing process.

The tuna hunts are rather effective.

I doubt it, I bet we drive off ten or twenty dudes for every actual tuna we smoke out.
