True story.

I had a dog who very rarely barked. One day I was working in the kitchen and the dog was sitting in the doorway, watching the world go by.

Suddenly, the dog barked very loudly and looked hard at me, and then out the door. I went and looked. There was a youth slowly walking past.

He saw me and quickly walked away.

It later turned out that he was a sneak thief, looking for an opportunity.

I didn’t know, but the dog did.

My dog was indifferent towards my ex. Dog loved me. 6 months after divorce kids told me my dog was depressed and losing the will to live. C~~~ euthanized the dog without telling me. I would have driven the 200 miles to say good bye.

Once you have a bond with a dog? It’s the most heartbreaking thing in the world.

You know your going to outlast the bastard. But the time you do spend with your dog, is amazing.

A dog will stay with you when all others have left.
