Well, because if you read the article, the law was proposed as satire. The author of the bill never believed it could pass and probably wouldn’t be voting for it herself. It’s just a poor attempt to draw attention to what she see’s as the unfairness and sexism in abortion laws.

So I have calm response because that’s how I chose to respond to irrational emotional arguments. What’s funny is that I suspect she wants an emotional reaction…it helps justify her emotional reactions. What she doesn’t really want is for her thoughts and opinions to be treated fairly and logically.
