Same-Sex Marriage? How About Same-Sex Divorce?

I had a long conversation with my father today.  By the way.  My father is a genuine MGTOW, but he doesn’t realize it yet.

Anyway.  I was talking to him about marriage, and he brought up same-sex marriage.  Unlike me, he’s against same-sex marriage.  In his opinion, it’s “sick” and “scary”.  He did bring up one topic that I’d never thought of before; same-sex divorce.  It blew my mind :O

He says that he met a gay man last week who was complaining about not being able to get divorced from his husband.  I don’t know where the gay couple got married, but apparently none of the legal offices were willing to assist with divorce process because they weren’t “prepared” or “familiar” with that type of situation.  The man said that he went to multiple states to try to get divorced, but it was always the same story.  The gay man said that even though it was legally more difficult for him to marry a man than it would have been for him to marry a woman, the most difficult thing he’s ever tried to do is get a divorce from a man.

What do yall think?  I think that the LGBT put so much focus on same-sex marriage that they totally forgot to focus on same-sex divorce.

I was thinking about gay marriage how straight marriage is going down the toilet and gay marriage is unscathed. It’s like a conspiracy where if gay people get marriage its in their power they will stop us from getting married or perhaps forcing us to get married. I am always having red pill moments like this but you can’t question it or you are labelled a “homophobe”.

I doubt that the gays are trying to ruin heterosexual marriage.  Think about it.  How would the gays benefit from doing that?  They usually don’t care about what other people do in their peronal lives.  They only care about what they desire to do.

Also, I think that the heterosexual marriage is going downhill faster than same-sex marriage because it’s difficult for the government to take sides in a same-sex marriage.  In a same-sex marriage, the government can’t say, “It’s the man’s fault”.  A lot of women would get married to a man with the intent of divorcing the man in order to take a percentage of his prosperity.  They have an incentive to divorce a man.  That incentive just about dies if the woman marries another woman, so I think that’s one of the reasons why their divorce rate is lower, other than the reason I stated above.

I agree.  When I spoke with my father, he did bring up the religious aspect of getting married, and that totally makes sense to me.  I’m an atheist, so I personally wouldn’t be able to use religion as a reason to get married.  The only valid reason people ever give me is the “tax break” reason, but that still fails the cost:benefit analysis in my opinion.

The LGBT community is in a strong Alliance with Feminism, and I respect any gay person that sees the light and breaks away. Being gay is a sexual preference…nothing more, but when you join a cult that waves around rainbow flags, and associates themselves with Feminist extremist that target heterosexual males…well now you have a problem. That is what makes the stereotypical gay male my enemy he is a gender traitor, and gives women advice in learning how we as men behave it’s absolutely disgusting. I mean Feminisms goal anyway is to strip away male masculinity, and pull men under their wing so that they can monitor our every move. They want to shape men into…well women under no circumstances should a man adopt female traits, or discuss what he as a man does KEEP THEM IN THE DARK.

All that gay man has to do is get on the news, and say “i’m being discriminated against by divorce lawyers”, and the problem will be solved. I will show no sympathy to any man that supports marriage…sorry they’re on their own, and will get everything they deserve. I don’t care how gay you’re thats no excuse to go run off creating an alliance with someone who gives ZERO f~~~s about your gender.

@Aroused By Her Anguish-I think another reason why homosexual marriage isn’t going downhill like heterosexual marriage is that the legal recognition homosexual marriage in the US is a relatively recent phenomenon. It would be ironic if homosexuals suddenly started filing for divorce in droves. This would be the perfect ammunition for the anti-gay crowd: “they weren’t really serious about being married or whatever.” Maybe in future generations the divorce rate for homosexuals will be much to closer to heterosexual marriages?

@NCDude-I think the fight for homosexual marriage is more symbolic of the movement for equal rights than anything else. I see it as trying to establish the basis that homosexuals should not be treated differently by society or the courts than heterosexuals are. Homosexuals having the option to marry I suspect is the key point of the issue, not necessarily choosing to get married.

James Hunter.  By “cost”, I’m not talking about the fee of the wedding or marriage license.  I’m talking about how much a man has to suffer if he ends up with a crappy wife or goes through a divorce.

OldAtHeart.  I’ve seen many videos on YouTube where homosexual men and homosexual women claim to be against feminism.  A lot of them have been verbally, emotionally, and/or physically abused by feminists.  I’ve even seen one video of a lesbian who said she was raped by her feminist girlfriend.  I’m not showing sympathy to the marriage of homosexuals.  It’s just that I find it ironic that they fought so hard for something that did not really benefit them.

I just can not see why a homosexual man would want to marry. I agree that they of the other persuasion should have the same right to do any insane misguided thing anyone else can do. But why the hell would you do it. If you are so inclined, and you have same sex drive as every other male why would you want to get married? Think about it, then add in the legal crap. I have no problem saying I am completely against gay marriage just like I’m against feminism….lets be honest…not all men will ever go MGTOW, its good for us but most men will want traditional relationships…for the majority of men strict traditional rules should be written than gives men the advantage in every way shape and form to keep female hypergamy under control. Equality is a joke…2 beings that are completely different in mind, body and soul could never be equal no matter how much society tries to brainwash everyone to believe it….homosexual society is a side effect of feminism…its “cool” to be a lesbian..so all girls now kiss other girls..same thing goes for guys…when morality becomes normal again homosexuality will disapear….its a form of social proofing.

I mentioned in another post, I am against marriage. It is dumb and pointless. But if two men want to live their lives together…I think that is cool as long as they still get to do what they want to do. And I think for the most part homosexual men understand that. They have the same feelings and more importantly “logic” which women do not have. Two gay men are more likely to have the same interests than a straight couple. With men, we are simple. It’s just like, hey bro, let’s make some kraft dinner after work, play some video games and blow each other, go to bed. No stress.

As for same sex-divorce. In a perfect man world, each man would get 50/50 or it would be decided on who gets what. That is logical unlike straight divorce. In a same-sex divorce, whoever has the name on the paper of the house keeps it. If both paid for it, they figure out who paid more/less even it out. Sell the house and split the profits. Or 1 guy agrees to keep it but has to give the other dude what he paid for it.

This would continue on for everything. If you paid for it, you keep it. If it is jointly paid, it is 50/50. Sure it is more work for lawyers/proof etc, but it is much more fair than f~~~ing automatically giving the f~~~ing woman 70% of your future income, your house, your car and making you homeless. LOL

But I think that in the long run that will be the ruin of feminists.
Lesbians abuse each others much more than heterosexual couple: with lesbian marriages becoming more and more common, sooner or later that thing will surface. And feminist narrative about women as always victims just due their biology will be destroyed.
Divorce laws are the same even for lesbian and gay marriages: the tomboy is screwed in a lesbian divorce, like a man is in an heterosexual divorce, the more masculine gay is screwed like a man in a gay divorce. Even that thing will surface when they’ll complain.
