The comments on the article are LOL. Rounds wasn’t a bad looking woman all things considered, but how she ended up with Rosie who looks like utter trash is beyond me.

I saw O’Donnell at the Punchline in San Francisco back in the mid-80s. She was acting as the emcee for a program of 5 or 6 comedians I’d never heard of and never heard of again.

While not yet as physically disgusting as she later became, you could tell what was waiting for her in the future. She looked like a human thumb who had been poured into tuxedo pants, a black vest, and white dress shirt only to forget to say “when”. I was afraid she’d rip the seat of her pants just stepping up on stage.

I remember nothing about the acts she introduced and nothing about both her “bumpers” and her own set.
