Liberal mindset:

People who make dark humor jokes or jokes and insults that mock our protected minorities? – They deserve to die! Even if those people apologize their apologies won’t be accepted.

That’s a liberal for you. He will never forgive a politically incorrect joke or insult but will cry if a proven rapist don’t get treated like a naughty kid. I am not against human rights for convicts but I can’t help but to see the irony in the liberal approach.

That said I don’t want to sound like a white racist that’s only defending her because the joke was against a black. Even though my skin is white I am mixed as it gets (descendant of portuguese and italian immigrants, african slaves and brazilian natives/indians) but since I like dark humour jokes and insults I side with free speech even in the case of insults.

You should be able to boycott people you disagree with and sue them if they have spread lies about you that you can prove that are lies. But you should never be able to censor them.

Like other brothers said her show sounds like a piece of s~~~ but still it’s a sad dictatorial world when shows get cancelled and people get fired for unrelated stuff their did in their personal lives.

I own several tv’s, but none of them have any cable service connected. I called cable company and cancelled subscription sometime last year. I wondered when I did it if I would miss it. I don’t. I remember reading an article whose link I found here. In the article, some Jewish rabbi (I think) was being interviewed and was asked why he didn’t have a television in his living room. He said, “For the same reason I don’t have an open sewer in my living room…”.

If something happens in the news, I can read about it (faster than a commentator can read it to me from a teleprompter), and it’s easier to ignore the comments trying to steer me to someone else’s agenda.

I’ve thought about that rabbi’s statement since I disconnected. I’m not jewish, but that statement accurately applies to today’s tv media. I am not trading my money, my time and my attention for their digital s~~~ to be piped into my home. Most of them are liberal and their behavior since the last election, including this Rosie issue, reminds me of spoiled children throwing a tantrum when told they didn’t get their way.
