Damn Faust, great points. I never considered, Finn WAS scrapped hardcore, and yeah, his character origin is great material, wasted. I liked Oscar Issac from Ex Machina.

I never liked Adam Driver at all. I think he was the worst casted of the new films. And Im a former Marine too. LOL.

He just doesnt foot the bill at all, too tall for one. Too damn ugly. Reminds me of Grandmas Boy. heheheh

To be honest, I do not follow these new films. Ive BARELY seen them and could not explain the plots really. THEY LOST MY ATTENTION SPAN because I really resent the female protagonist. I also resent the character names which were too simple.

So after Return of the Jedi, Leia and Han Solo have a son, Evil Adam Driver (Kylo Ren, <-I had to look that up)
So Adam starts going towards the dark side during Luke Skywalker training him. So Luke tries to kill him. Then Luke takes off on his own because he is a weirdo in the new films…

Bla Blah, Rey the C U N T is found on desert world, token black dude shows up (with a brilliant story arc that gets scrapped) and Oscar Issac flies a plane with Chewie.

Then Adam Driver kills his Dad (Han Solo) for no good reason …

Then a Purple Haired bitch spends a whole movie letting Star Destroyers waste her fleet while Bencio De Toro dies as soon as he arrives… and that Japanese looking girl never puts out. While thats going on, Adam Driver is in Reys head trying to get her to take her panties off but she doesnt have a vagina anyway. Then Skywalker does some hyperretarded, unbelievable ghost transmission crap which makes him die.

During this time, Oscar Issac and the token Black dude get told to sit down and shut up while women are in charge… And Leia gets blown up but flies through space like Mary Poppins with no space suit and lives.. not really sure..

Then they made some spin off movies like SOLO which wasnt bad or good, but still SJWy …

And now the new movie where more implausible sh!t occurs and we never get to see any boobs…. type Rey Naked into Google

Thank you. Finn’s character arc in the Force Awakens makes the film worth seeing because one can see what could have been if the characters were written with skillful hands.

Mr. Driver is a decent actor, but Kylo Ren/Ben just screams taking the worst parts of a female audience style anime. That being an emo-angst pretty boy fan of Darth Vader. That is just wrong.

Kylo Ren is a pretty version of Dark Helmet from Spaceb~~~~. Which is basically what Anakin would have become if he had not be mutilated in his fight with Obiwan in Episode Three.

Those making the films threw everything else away to push for that female demographic by teasing the shipping of Rey and Kylo. And they did not even do that well.

there is a part of me that still loves Star Wars. Having been born in the 80s, the original trilogy and the prequel trilogies were a big part of my early sci-fi exposure. I dont have a problem with The Phantom Menace at all, even Jar Jar. I was 13 when that came out!

Attack of the Clones 2002 (sophomore in highschool so I was probably stoned when that came out and totally forgot it) and Rise of the Sith 2005 … I was in the Marine Corps so pretty much missed that too. Both those movies are pretty bland, some would say, but they tell a coherent story! So I will give them that! And it was still believable.

While each of the prequel movies are flawed in some way, as a trilogy, as a whole, the prequels hold up to the test of time.

I can name far more things I liked in each of the prequel movies than I disliked. I cannot say the same for the Disney trilogy.

Okay The Rise of Skywalker does not exist on our earth. it exists on earth 53 which is a nuclear planet which would make sense to why Emperor Palpatine is alive on earth 53. It doesn’t exist in our time or planet. The Trilogy ended with Return of the Jedi back in 1983 to where Darth Vader threw the Emperor down the shaft of the Death Star becoming the chosen out destroying the Sith and bringing the Force back to balance. Anakin Skywalker is the chosen one. The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise Of Skywalker is the Disney sequels and has nothing to do with the Star Wars Trilogy. The ones responsible for this train wreck is J.J Abrams, Ruin Johnson and C~~~leen Kennedy.

Well, the total opening weekend for this film is around $375 million world wide for opening weekend.

And it is performing worse outside of the U.S., than within.

If what you say is true, the film might not break $800 million at the box office.

So glad I’ve never gotten excited about Star Wars. All of this doesn’t bother me a bit.

I’m glad the new ones are shiit though. The price to pay for ruining something someone else made with passion.

I was looking at just the US market. Update, lol -85.2% from last week, it is still in the number one slot but think this will be the last week for that one.
I wish these things did ticket sales and not money. That would really tell a story.
