Ring/index finger ratio and masculinity

I learned something about this in Neurobiology. Pretty much the ratio somewhat indicate your early testosterone level. Homosexual men tends to have lower level of Testosterone, while homosexual women tends to have higher level of Testosterone.

The reasoning behind this involve a pathway that involve testosterone. Higher testosterone would be converted into estrogen, which will go into your brain and masculinize it (weird but true). A feminized brain was not exposed to or very low level of estrogen. However, when a mother is pregnant, she had a ton of estrogen flowing around, then how would the female fetus have a feminized brain? The answer to this is that they have a protein that block estrogen to the brain (if fetus is female).

Knowing this fact, that’s explain why fraternal twins (with one male and female), the female has higher chance to become homosexual.

In the case of people with gender identities, mostly it is because of different level of testosterone throughout the life time (for men testosterone surge at adolescent, and puberty), that make your brain and your body have opposite sex.

This is merely the genetic basis. Nurture would also influence this.

With this knowledge, I begin to suspect that NAWALT probably has a masculinized brain, which does not make them true women O.o

What’s more, some relationships between 2D:4D ratios and sex traits that have been found in the past, haven’t been replicated in other studies.

When they know for sure I research and learn. When they take guesses I ignore and wait for more data. But presenting “research” with less than all the facts does a disservice to all.

Correct! But not many people have the critical thinking skills that you have, and this article will be used by those who don’t in discussions about many topics related to men and women.

How would this explain macho homosexuals,
Athletes who come out of the closet or male celebrities you’d never think were gay?
It seems truer when applied to female ‘bull’ dykes who act and think more as a man than a woman.

You should google Guevedoce, these children are androgen insensitivity. This mean that they don’t response well to testosterone like normal people, and need higher dose to work. At adolescent, the testosterone surge is there, but it is very low compare to at puberty. This make them look and act very feminine. When puberty hit, the super high testosterone was able to overcome the insensitivity, and they could look macho.

Homosexual men could have low testosterone early age that would only slightly masculinize the brain, and at puberty the high testosterone surge made him look very macho, but the brain wasn’t change much.

That’s a sensible way to put it. I’m tired of ‘experts’ making up ‘research’ to shove bulls~~~ down everyone’s else throat in order to negate the truth of the Creator.
