So, I used to read Women’s Studies back when I was in HS. I read Reviving Ophelia which is a book that says young girls are having their minds destroyed by the time they’re 12, and lose their taste for science and math. They then get into beauty and such. Now this book is written by a psychologist who took on many young women clients. She goes through some cases and explains them. The book doesn’t even say how it’s men who are at fault, but that it’s the media who douses girls with the idea that they’re only worth is in between their legs.
Well, I read this book while taking a liberal form of psychology in highschool which was a very thinly veiled form of New Ageism. As an assignment I was to write about the book. Well, I also was to read some previous responses by others.
I think I’m the only male who ever did, and the responses were probably all young women (highschool).
There was one exerpt that I’ll never forget. This girl talks about how men basically are to blame. She actually said that when a girl walks by, he thinks about her looks and not her personality. She wrote it with disdain.
Can you believe it? So many take-aways. Right, too many men go for idiot girls, but you can’t tell personality by looking at the girl. Talk about the hypocrisy that women don’t judge men for stupid reasons, and finally, I bet she’s some chubby girl who can’t get attention. So, she’ll do something childish and just get mad at those who won’t give her what she wants.
I’ll admit, the book was right, women by the time they’re twelve cannot even figure out men, and instead become complete morons when trying to explain how everything is all their fault. Science, literature? Heck, first to become a king, one first should become a man, but to become that you must first learn to walk. How about starting with learning about what life is like from a man’s perspective? That would require empathy and nobility. Try it sometime.

How does she know what he’s thinking? Based on my experience he’s probably thinking about lunch.

I’d place good money on saying it’s more likely that they A) realize they can secure goods from the male gender through their looks or B) as Turd Flinging Monkey pointed out in one of his videos, women peak earlier in their mental development than men. This is why studies about intelligence are often taken around ages 11-13 and why girls tend to be in the middle of the bell curve on these tests while boys tend to be at the ends.

Hardly. Mothers teach their daughters pretty early on that their worth is almost entirely determined by how long they can withhold sex.

That makes no sense. How the hell am I supposed to discern personality from what I’m looking at? Of course men think about her looks; that’s what’s f~~~ing apparent. Seems to me you read a book by a f~~~ing moron, man. Sorry about the time you’ll never get back.

I believe it is self inflicted, and it prevails in every culture. I also happen to believe that women’s talent for mathematics and science is overstated. There is lots of overlap, but men are better at math and sci than women by a large margin. That’s my opinion, and I’m entitled to it.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
That was another student’s report on the book. The book never even said that’s what men are thinking. You’re right that there’s no way to tell personality and that girl was just stupid as a rock. The book is a woman’s studies book. It’s about women from a woman’s perspective and makes women out to be victims. She blames the media for it. The girl who wrote her review is just another highschool student.
