Respect for Women

As a blue-pill beta who pedestalized women, I was confused that “respect for women” is a topic.

It’s like respect for blond-haired people. Or respect for people who like to draw. Of course you respect them like anyone else, if not more.

How do we explain the prevalence of this issue?

1. Proejction. Women lack self-respect so they project “no one respects me”.

2. Women are sexually attracted to those who feel entitled to and dominate them (i.e. 50 shades) and repulsed by nice guys. So men often naturally have some level of disrespect for women because it is healthy from the standpoint of the men’s sexual viability.

3. Disrespect softens the blow of rejection too.

4. People are bothered by gynocentrism (i.e. is is socially acceptable for women to adorn themselves in super-stimuli whereas modest male stimuli, almost entirely consisting of actions, are criminalized); this makes people feel women have it too good.

5. A ploy for entry into fields they’ve yet to do well in. i.e. there are few female CEO’s so blaming a lack of respect for women absolves women of the responsibility for having been (perhaps by choice) stay-at-home moms and so on.

Is this basically why “respect for women” is a topic?

I’ve been told many times in my life (or simply overheard someone saying) that I should respect women. I always ask, “Why?” To date I’ve never received a single answer (unless being called a chauvinist pig counts).

I respected a woman just last month.

An attractive young lady was sitting on a bench underground in the subway, waiting for the next train which happened to be delayed by 15 minutes. When suddenly a teenage ghetto rat plops down next to her and started talking s~~~ to her.

I was only 10 feet away and could clearly hear him asking her if she would like to see his big black c~~~? Had she ever done it with a black man? etc., etc. This went on for several minutes. In my younger and much more naive “White Knight” days, I would have rushed in to her rescue and stomped the s~~~ of skinny piece of garbage.

Instead, I opted to respect her privacy and at the same time acknowledge the universally held fact that any woman is equal to any man, in any given situation. Therefore, I decided I would allow her to respond to the verbal assault without any unwelcome interference from me. I was however, keeping a close watch to make sure that it didn’t evolve into a robbery or physical assault.

Her solution was to finally get up and run up the stairs out of the subway station, missing her train that was just arriving at that moment.

I thought “Well, that wouldn’t have been my reaction to the asshole, but I guess that works too”. End result… I don’t get arrested for assaulting a poor black man that wasn’t doing anything illegal. I arrive at the office just a few minutes late, without buttons getting torn off my new dress shirt, my hair messed up, or my face slashed open with a box cutter.

If women want to be equal, then let them be equal in all arenas of conflict. Whether it be on the in the office, on the streets, in the subway or on the open battlefield. We’ll see how well this works out for them in the long run.
