I thought Venom was going to get around to this article–but he may be busy so I’ll do the honors. In a nutshell Brent’s thesis is that for years and years the republicans have been making lots of promises, lower taxes, kill obamacare etc. And in the past when they failed to produce results they had lots of excuses. Brent’s point is they are fresh out of excuses and if they fail to get some substantive things done the republican base is going to face the reality that for years they have been swindled and lied to–(Good job Paul Ryan you Eddie Munster looking dick) And this may begin their demise.

I agree given the failures of Bob Dole, John McCain and Mitt Romney. The conservative base has proven it can and will abandon the party—its track record is 3-0. Of course what he fails to address is the fact that the Dems/socialists are self destructing as well. Being the party of intolerance, dogma and violence doesn’t sell in middle America.

    “Thoughts” quoth Venom.

I don’t blame Ryan as much as I blame McConnell. The House passed an Obamacare repeal bill, the Senate didn’t. They couldn’t get it into reconciliation until they each had a bill passed. Ryan knows WAY more about the tax code than the rest of them combined. He will be the best chance we have of getting tax cuts.

He does look like Eddie Munster though. And I’m sure if any of us spent 10 minutes with him we would think he’s a dick.

Pete The truth is TRUMP was right when he labeled congress as a SWAMP, because that’s where the axis of power resides for the most part, the GOVERNMENT doesn’t want to give up it’s current power on health care (forget the left and right paradigm for a sec), it wants to rule over us the peasants like the European socialist governments do and seeing what’s going on over there i don’t want that s~~~ happening here..

They did the suppose “vote” as merely theater, to keep us the sheep entertained, while for another year we might have to pay another 700+ penalty when we file our taxes, because THEY (both dems and reps) know most of us cannot pay health care with the premiums as high as they are currently…

We have to start taking the government’s power away from the public square, the government’s role is to protect us their CITIZENS, not bring in refugees from countries that are not VETTED, because those refuges will become the CITIZENS that will vote in the laws that THEY want in the future.

The same thing was done in Venezuela i forgot to add this, Nicolas Maduro brought arabs and gave them full citizenship so they would vote on hes plan to reform venezuela’s contitution, all was part of the plan, is just that Obama was hoping Hilary would be the one elected to execute that plan when he allowed 650,000 refugees to settle in our land.

Democrat and Republican are just synonyms in this instance. They both stand for the same thing, both speak the same lies, and both aim to maintain their power and corruption at the expense of the American people.

Uniparty = democrats + republican leadership

Uniparty strategies swing power over to different “parties” but only democrats really get things moving leftward via the dialectic.

Repub leadership (uniparty) was to channel the anger voters had, to give them a majority that promised to change things, but they never were actually going to. Never really intended to. They always had excuses – don’t have both houses, don’t have the presidency, etc.

Now that they had everything the have no believable excuse covers left. What they are doing now is this:

Uniparty has decided Repubs need to lose one of the chambers of the Congress. They are p~~~ing off the base with obvious lies about how they cannot do anything, and are opposing Trump which the people wanted to sweep this uniparty crap out of DC.

They decided Repubs have to lose one chamber so that they can go back to having a plausible deniability excuse again, namely the time old “we don’t have both houses anymore, but if you vote for us and we get it back, then we can change stuff”.

It’s again, a total lie, but it’s what they have decided is going to happen. It gives repub uniparty leadeship a more viable excuse, and for the democrat uniparty it gives them the ability to vent for their base and to go after Trump.

Because that is the second goal of the uniparty. To go after Trump. Repub/Democrat uniparty.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

No. The GOP rinos are politically destroying themselves. Look at where the support is. President Trump is sitting pretty with his supporters. But, the support the rinos have is in free fall.

House Speaker Paul Ryan held a townhall in his district in Wisconsin last week. He make the same pitch of low taxes and etc. When he finished. Instead of applause, the silence was such that one could hear a pin drop.

The one thing worse than criticism is silence. Silence means the person is not even worth criticizing. Meaning the people in the townhall held no respect or value towards Paul Ryan.

While it has not been outright stated. The pardon of Joe Arpaio by President Trump has become a de facto litmus test for being a Republican. Those members of the Republican party whom support the pardon of Joe Arpaio are real Republicans, those that oppose the pardon are rinos.

No, the DNC is devious and working against the people, the GOP are lazy ass bitches sitting behind a desk thinking if they do nothing it will be all right.

And yet they have done such a tremendous job of getting most people to cling to the letter behind their name like it was a gun or a bible. I can’t begin to tell you the number of times I have voted for “new” because I thought the person in power wasn’t listening to us. But it doesn’t matter because no one else will.

Every once in a while we have meetings with people in DC about tax reform. Not long ago the person was saying that after a certain date this year you wouldn’t see tax reform. Because they don’t want to be on record voting for it or against it in an election year. I replied with something close to “Am I the person in this country that would vote them out for not voting? How is sitting there doing nothing the best way to get re-elected?” They laughed and said they understood my point, but job #1 is getting re-elected and doing nothing is the best way to accomplish that goal.

Absolutely—that separates the men from the boys and the dicks from the c~~~s! I knew Trump won’t let him down. I can’t believe the left was crying about it given the criminal pieces of s~~~ douch-bags that Obama pardoned on his way out the door.

Democrats have promoted slavery, jim crow, eugenics, and the federal reserve debt slavery system.

Most people don’t remember, because democrats enacted compulsory indoctrination. They’ve been bathing themselves in halos, and demanding you wash them too. Since before we could put 2+2 together.

Republicans have been eating and approving of the same s~~~. The “populous” ones don’t do their due diligence. Republicans that do due diligence a la Ron Paul face media black outs.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men (and women) to stand by and do nothing. They’d better quit relying on polls to predict elections or they’ll all be voted out of office in the next election. Americans remember…contrary to what the media thinks.

Yep, clearly there is a very large amount of resources poured into keeping the game the same, both from the Republicrats and the Demopubs. 2011 GOP rigged in favor of Establishment candidate Romney, 2016 DNC rigged in favor of Establishment candidate Clinton.
