Rep. Clark (C~~~, MA) Gets Game Shut Down

Females have many annoying attributes, the least benign is the tendency to be a killjoy. Rep. Katherine Clark from the People’s Republic of mAssachusetts leaned on Twitter and the Apple store to get a programme removed that was akin to trading baseball cards of all things.

Three lessons may be obtained:
1 – Females will abuse power when their feelings are hurt,
2 – Intermediaries like Twitter and Apple will fold like a cheap suit because they are scared of c~~~s from the House of Representatives, and
3 – The usual suspects from GamerGate will always be up to their usual tricks in an effort to censor and ultimately control Silicon Valley.

Stolen was a whimsical online game that mixed the dynamics of baseball trading cards with Twitter. Players used a virtual currency to “collect” online collectable cards of popular Twitter accounts. The more popular or desirable the account, the greater the cost. Once purchased, cards could be traded with other players.

Clark sent sternly-worded letters to Twitter and the Apple Store, urging them to block the app.

Instead of reminding the Congresswoman that taking screenshots of peoples’ Twitter profile pictures would always be possible, the team behind Stolen decided to cave in, pulling their app offline before it was banned. In a post on their Twitter feed, they announced that they were shutting down.

Simple solution: STOP BUYING APPLE PRODUCTS.

They’re f~~~ing control freaks. At least with Android you have relative freedom, and even if the playstore banned an app like this (doubtful), you could still release it as an apk.

Apple treats their customers like children.

Case in point: The G1 Psycho app. This is just about the coolest app I have ever installed. IT simply has a picture of a knife on the screen, and when you move your phone in a stabbing motion, it plays the violin screetch from the movie Psycho. Great for when some self centered broad in front of you at the checkout line stops to make small talk with the cashier and then pulls out a checkbook to hand write a check to pay.

It’s really just silly fun. But Apple banned it, and that was the day I decided I would never buy an Apple product as long as I lived.

I don’t need to be treated like a child by the company that makes my electronics.

Boycott all apple products.

I’m sympathetic to their position as their job is not to make games, but to make money. The risk of the company and its employees being blacklisted by these lunatic c~~~s increases exponentially with the length of media exposure, so I do not blame them for mitigating the damages that have arisen from this nonsense.

I get what you are saying brother, but I don’t feel that way at all. This is bad PR for them and their fans, next time they release a new game, people will go, oh, they might shut this game down like the last one, because one crazy c~~~ complains about it, so it’s not worth it. What’s even worse is the signal they are sending. Women got to this crazy stage because men let them, if all companies stop putting up with s~~~ like that, there will be no complaints in the future.

Correct. That’s because apple will hold your hand and make you feel secure and stylish while they proceed to assrape you (or worse). Men often see through that s~~~ and buy Android, or better yet load cyanogenmod. Women can’t/won’t.

These guys are short sighted. They see their app as a small but profitable entry into the apple app store.

They now have an opportunity so springboard their app into a main seller in the app store.

Just hire a lawyer and file an anti-discrimination suit. Let the newspapers and internet blogs do their advertising for them. They are already off their market audience, they conceded and stopped making the product.

Men need to learn to use the media like women do.

Curves is a s~~~ty health club but frequented by many females partially because Curves made big headlines fighting to keep men out of their health club.

Once men start fighting back using feminist tools, these cases will just be free advertising for their company and product.

If it get’s band all the better. Banned books are some of the most sought after books because they are now deemed controversial and people love controversy.
