Hey fellas,
I know this has little to do with MGTOW, but I really do need an opinion. Though I already have a small apartment rental for 900$, basically a basement room with washroom and oven, it’s geared towards students. I won’t be come this September.
Now, I’m trying to find a longer term rental, but have seen plenty of scam online trying to fish out personal info. They would post the apartment address, reply back but with a very plain looking application- hand written.
Just yesterday though, I did come across a 2 bedroom apartment and replied to an ad. A person replied back, and said that they would contact the landlord and have them send an application to me. This time, the landlord did reply back with a video of an apartment, and an application form in PDF format.
The address and video seem to match the ad on posted site. What I’m trying to figure out is whether or not it’s another, but more “sophisticated” scam to lure our personal info? Usually I have a good gut feeling on these subjects, but right now it’s completely blank. It could be legit, but the price seems a bit low- 1075$ per month. Similar rentals for 2 bedrooms go for 1500$. But could it have been lowered due to pandemic?
Any thoughts? Advice?
