Remove the Motive Power

As many of us have read and relate to in the Ayn Rand book Atlas Shrugged, if those who ‘do’ leave those who ‘need’ alone to either learn or suffer themselves… the world changes.

With the new plethora of sexual harassment claims, filings, false-rape charges, 911 calls, etc. happening against men… with the #METOO movement happening… with the ongoing butchery of families by the court system…

Is it time for Men to remove the motive power? Is it time for us to #ICETHEMOUT and bring the development, the new ideas, the ABILITY to a grinding halt? Some men we see are doing that already, leaving high powered, high risk jobs to take on simple jobs at low pay… some are opting to go off-grid, leaving the web and information overload behind… some are here helping others learn about the challenges men face today…

Could Going your own way prompt you to leave society?

For me, the future seems to hold fear that no matter what I say, do or even look towards a woman it could mean harassment charges and a destruction of life as I know it. My inability to fully leave ‘the plantation’ has left me vulnerable and is something I have to balance with where I want to go. But in my work life, just shaking hands with a woman could lead to charges. I recently posted where I said ‘No’ to helping two women with their car… and was worried after they could bring me up on some sort of charges…

While I realize there are millions of plugged in men still, with no hope of unplugging them and waking them up, there are over 25,000 of us now. Many here have already removed themselves from the ‘race’ of marriage, support, etc. Is it time many more of us do?

I realize we are not a movement, we are a philosophy in life, one of sovereignty and freedom, but is our future as men at risk from all of this accusatory bulls~~~?

The decline of US society seems to be accelerating at an ever increasing rate. The fear it is prompting in men may lead them to become MGTOW or may force them to become essentially sub-class in society (according to women they are all rapists and harassers)… is there any coming back?

And yes I know, NFG. But we have to be able to survive and live in a society that is becoming ever increasingly hostile towards men and there is no magic valley in Colorado we can all live in peace in.

Some weird Thursday morning ramblings I guess… should have avoided the news this morning.

There are particular scenarios which are clearly more dangerous than others. If I was a public figure, I would absolutely make sure that I am never alone with a woman and would have everything recorded whenever possible.

I’m not a public figure though, so a woman’s motivation to screw me over is much much lower…typically. There are absolutely women out there that will accuse you of harassment for their own self esteem, because they believe revenge is warranted, or they stand to gain financially from you. You must absolutely be careful when dealing with women under all conditions. Work is most certainly NOT an exception.

I have at time considered possibly getting involved with local government. Probably wouldn’t be a big deal. However I have no doubt that if I ever were to reach any kind of public notoriety, women from my past, one night stands and such, would come out and start claiming rape. My past marriage would be questioned. All sort of trash that have nothing to do with my current ability to do whatever it is I want to do.

I won’t say that I live my life in isolation, but I am careful with who I spend time with, who I interact with, and have learned to enjoy my life with very little dependency or interaction with others. In this day and age, you can live a pretty good life that way.

Ok. Then do it.

Women can’t do anything to us that we don’t allow to happen to ourselves. We are men and take responsibility for our actions.

Our philosophy as I understand it:

1. Don’t want to be divorced rape, don’t marry.
2. Don’t want to be falsely accused of rape on a date, don’t date.
3. Don’t want your children used against you like a machete in your heart, don’t have children.
4. Don’t want to be falsely accused at work, don’t interact alone with women at work.
5. Don’t want to be falsely accused on the street, wear a body cam.
6. Don’t want to be falsely accused by girlfriends, don’t have dishonest girlfriends, only go to honest women.

We men are guilty of giving our power away and MGTOW is about taking it back. Hide your wealth, protect your property, never sign a marriage CONTRACT. We must guard our words and side-step the traps.

I don’t even think it’s about taking it back, it’s simply not giving it away anymore. And that’s more than enough. Typically, a woman can’t survive on what she’s been given in the past, as she’s probably already destroyed that. No, she needs that constant influx of power…money resources and what have you. You don’t need to take anything back that was already given, just stop giving any more.

Don’t care about “society” or taking power back. I’m taking all MY power with me….down MGTOW road. As society loses more and more to Galt, my smile will get bigger and bigger in proportion to the size of the flames as society burns to the ground.

Agree with your points men, but many on here and many who lurk (I believe) have already given that power away, and are taking it back a little at a time.

I am one of those as I am still somewhat on the plantation. My 6 month separation continues with me still providing support and planning… but these recent allegations have me worried. My wife is visiting now and though I’m running the body cam (covertly laying it around the house where it is inconspicuous), it won’t run 24/7 and I don’t have means to store all of the data if it did… have to get some cloud storage going and that gets a bit conspicuous when you keep uploading for hours…

Am really feeling the worry and the pressure… and am essentially wanting to walk away… am liking the idea of a three month hike more and more… financially I can’t do it yet but perhaps it is something i have to head for next year… disappearing for three months would clear a lot of drama.
