Thinking of Greg Honda and his search for all things “American”. Glad you are safely home my friend.
Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man, one of my favorite “What else can happen today” movies.http://www.dammagedgoods.com/2014/03/craption-harley-davidson-and-marlboro.html

LOL. If that were the case NO bank would ever be robbed!

Anonymous14I always liked the old art promo posters. Conan, Star Wars, even many comedies back in the day had elaborate art… Then all of it would make it’s way to the VHS box covers. What we see today is just likely just the result of cutting costs to do everything possible to up profit.
This would just give cause for larger gangs to form, think of the original Family “Cosa Nostra”.

Absolutely Joe, especially when the worldwide market now has digital distribution. There are no covers on a digital media stream. Sad.

I actually have a stupid big VHS collection. I find myself often collecting the older boxes that have the movie promo poster art on the covers. Much of it is amazing, with some of the James Bond stuff being my favorite. Look up the Moonraker cover/poster with Jaws coming at him in the back round while they are all floating in space with all the ladies around… A lot of Sci-Fi had amazing stuff as well.
Found a link, Moonraker is my favorite hands down. Looks like after The Living Daylights they pulled the plug. lol
