Religion as a Platform for Abuse and Harassment

I have an ex that likes to use religion as another method to harass me. I know its horses~~~ and I tell her this frequently but like most unstable people it barely slows her down. I have found that those who feel righteous through religion are living on another planet in terms of sanity.

Generic examples:

– If she is mad at me for something she will say that I am going to hell for “what I have done to her”. Will say similar things about my family which are people she has barely met or been in contact with…everyone is fair game in her mind.
– She will bring up some imagined or exaggerated incident between us from the past and say something like ” I am praying for you. We all pray for you to realize that you abandoned your family and that you need to make it right”.
– She will bring up some bad experience I went through since we split and tell me that its God trying to convince me to change my wicked ways etc.

I know at least some of you deal with an ex who uses Religion as a weapon against you. I have to deal with her a certain amount because of children so I know it will never stop until I can cut all ties. However, I was just curious what kind of Religious based insults or crazy situations you personally have went through? It helps me deal with the insanity by hearing how others deal with it. Thanks

yes member, the shame of religious family members has turned me into an agnostic.
i’ve been told i’m going to hell by several family members.
my reply was ” you’ve brought hell to ME with your judgemental attitudes ” !
there’s probably a god , but who really knows the right way to deal with , with GOD ?
i don’t trust any one who talks about god at all.
it’s personal, not even especially family shouldn’t judge.
but the do, and they are asshole hypocrites for doing so.
my family can all go to hell ( if there is such a place,i seriously doubt it ) .

It’s not religion, it’s just how people are. It’s just as bad or worse with atheists. Feminism is the de facto religion in the West these days, and if anything it overrides all other religious teachings, twisting them into something they aren’t. Most people don’t actually believe in anything, certainly not religion, and just use it as a social tool, whatever it is.

I’ve seen so much idiotic nonsense from atheists, especially liberals, and I’m sure most on here have seen it too. After all, we pretty much exist because of feminism, and most modern women can’t be bothered to identify with a religion at all.

The major religions in fact put controls on female behavior and in general order them into submission to their husbands/fathers. No Western woman actually wants to follow this. But it’s an order from God Himself, so clearly they have no issues blatantly defying God.

Most men would in fact be in a better position if they demanded women adhere to religion. Because there goes premarital sex, there goes women being “equal”, there goes the back talk, there goes the materialism that women love. Divorce is out, even talking to other men when married is out. Working a job is generally out too, and certainly none of this equality business.

Christianity specifically even tells women to shut up in Church, and if they have a question to ask it must be done through asking a man to ask for her. In Judaism women are not supposed to be clergy and are supposed to be segregated. And of course Islam is pretty famous as well on its clear rules for women’s subservience.

Problem is Cultural Marxism is the primary religion in the West and all religions are filtered through that lens. So it’s unfathomable to people, men as well, as to what religion really says. And rather than looking for themselves, reading the source material and the older scholarly material if they want extra guidance, they only listen to feminist preachers and obey what women tell them.

The only thing that can save the West is probably religion, because women are not going to voluntarily give up everything they have, and men are too pussified to forcefully roll things back to something sensible. But if men go with what’s in religion, and then use that as justification to roll things back, I think men might be strong enough to actually enforce it. And also strong enough to face down the media and government to do it.

It really is however the will of the people. Sure shaped by government and media, but this is what most people wanted and justified. We MGTOW are rare, and even rarer are those that would seek the principles you find in religion (chastity, kindness towards other, charity, female submissiveness etc.).

I grew up in a christian family. I mainly see it as a way used to control. I got no answers for the questions i had. If i asked why is sex before marriage (a no no in religion) bad? id get the answer because god said it is bad. The divine command theory if god say’s it’s holy it’s holy if god say’s it’s bad it’s bad. But the worst part was fire and brimstone. All non christians sent to sell for all eternity for the crime of not saying a prayer. It gave me an imagination that all my ancestors are burning in hell. It makes you think about all the places of ancestry in hell. Spanish catholics for example, or that taino indian ancestor (all us ricans seem to have). It just f~~~ed me up in the head while telling us god is loving. (but willing to eternally torture billions of people).

You think women actually shut up in church? no you are mistaking they f~~~ing lead churches these days. Even the ones you see a traditional trad con father who would shoot you for touching his daughter. They are more women going to church but it’s more of social circle and a place to get the happy feeling while never picking up their bibles and claiming to be true christians.

Great point! And America’s pulpits are overflowing with Mangina teachers not to mention those in leadership roles, especially the men, who follow the Feminist Imperative and cower in the face of female goddesses (women in the church). That’s not the only problem but it contributes to the shaming and emasculation of men, not only in church, but in society as a whole.

In addition, it leads to gross misinterpretation of God’s word, hence, blue pill men and feminists butcher the scripture and try to use it against men. I don’t think God is looking the other way. He doesn’t pay off every Friday.
