Gents,
I’m sure we know at least one (more) place relationships go to die, home of the infamous “Dear John” letters. A special reach out to current and former salt dogs of the services here.
Today I’d like to talk about intra-military relationships – not the civilian leeches on the outside, but the dastardly moochers on the inside. In the military it is nothing short of amusing to watch as new female arrivals to the unit quickly get swept in the arms of some blue-pilled bastard and flaunt themselves about off-duty in terribly obvious ways. It’s disgusting to see at best, depressing to watch at worst.
Don’t these kids realize that a relationship with someone who could very well live on the other side of the country is an insanely stupid idea? Besides the obvious culture clash, the clock is ticking on the enlistment contract. Regardless if you get her knocked up while you’re in (another pet peeve of mine), the time you are with this woman already has an expiration date. Any serviceman is a damned fool if they seriously expect that a woman would uproot their entire life for them – especially considering the fact that being in the military assuredly guarantees her to a swarm of orbiters and better options back home.
Brothers, your thoughts?
Logic guides your actions, emotion guides your morals. Only you may decide how you use them.
I used to see this alot. It was always so obvious, yet the guys lined up to be taken advantage of. Live and learn, I guess. The blue pill is hard for some guys to cough up.
"Don't follow in my footsteps...I stepped in something."
When I was in the Navy the joke was that you din’t need to go on shore leave to get a girl, sure they had guys at home but most were only interested in flings – it’s a lot different from office relations~~~s where your life isn’t on the line every day.
Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!
I served for close to the 30 years. Navy first, then National Guard with periods of active duty.
If you are stupid enough to become involved with a woman in your unit, on your ship, on on your base, you deserve all the s~~~ that is going to come your way.
Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.
Anonymous6Ahh yes, let’s talk about the woman cheating on you while your own deployment. Or the chick gets pregnant during deployment and now has to come home and relax. And our military wants to put them on the front lines?? HAHAHAHAA
Anonymous6Back in my time in the Army there were lots of low rent and scandalous leeches practically who hung around the bars and nightclubs around the post practically begging to hook up with a GI. I mean it was grotesque. All for living a rent free lifestyle where some poor chap GI gets drained of what little he makes (officers get drained of a bit more), then she goes and bangs who knows who while PFC Blue Pill plays the roll. It made me sick really.
