If there is one category of music that created the music industry juggernaut it has to be all the songs about relationships. I can’t think of any other creative medium pandering to women (perhaps outside of classical poetry) more than this. It also seems to be the one topic that makes up 99% of music created by women. Countless women lamenting about break-ups and wondering “what went wrong”, without an ounce of self-reflection. Just look at Adele. Pretty much all she does is sing about her relationships and people eat that s~~~ up. It’s also the realm of acoustic-guitar playing, major chord strumming pussy boys with whiny voices and estrogen-laced lyrics. If there was ever a form of filler music for our world it would be manginas strumming acoustic-guitars with sappy, pretentious nonsense coming out of their mouths.

The only real difference I can see when this category is matched with blues/rock music made by guys where it’s more about wanting to f~~~ these women, or cursing them for being treacherous c~~~s. It’s the only real saving grace, but still it gets old after you write the same damn song over and over. How long can one truly sit around dwelling on some woman who f~~~ed you over? No wonder hitting the bottle is a common theme as well.

This is proof yet again that heavy metal (and no, that f~~gy glam music isn’t, nor will ever be, metal) reigns supreme. Chalk full of introspection and topics that are actually interesting to contemplate.

    Just compare these two songs.

    Adele –

    “Rumour Has It”

    Owwwwh [repeats]

    She, she ain’t real,
She ain’t gonna be able to love you like I will,
    She is a stranger,
    You and I have history,
    Or don’t you remember?
    Sure, she’s got it all,
But, baby, is that really what you want?

Bless your soul, you’ve got your head in the clouds,
You made a fool out of you,
And, boy, she’s bringing you down,
    She made your heart melt,
But you’re cold to the core,
Now rumour has it she ain’t got your love anymore,

    Rumour has it (rumour) [x8]

    She is half your age,
But I’m guessing that’s the reason that you stayed,
I heard you’ve been missing me,
You’ve been telling people things you shouldn’t be,
Like when we creep out and she ain’t around,
    Haven’t you heard the rumours?

    (Bless your soul!)
Bless your soul, you’ve got your head in the clouds,
You made a fool out of me,
And, boy, you’re bringing me down,
You made my heart melt, yet I’m cold to the core,
But rumour has it I’m the one you’re leaving her for,

    Rumour has it (rumour) [x8]

All of these words whispered in my ear,
Tell a story that I cannot bear to hear,
Just ’cause I said it, it don’t mean that I meant it,
    People say crazy things,
Just ’cause I said it, don’t mean that I meant it,
    Just ’cause you heard it,

    Rumour has it (rumour) [x14]

But rumour has it he’s the one I’m leaving you for.

    Judas Priest –

    “Beyond The Realms Of Death”

    [Binks/Halford]

    He had enough
    He couldn’t take anymore
    He’d found a place
In his mind and slammed the door
    No matter how they tried
    They couldn’t understand
    They washed and dressed him
    Fed him by hand

Yeah! I’ve left the world behind
I’m safe here in my mind
Free to speak with my own kind
This is my life, this is my life
    I’ll decide not you

    Withdrawn he’d sit there
    Stare blank into space
    No sign of life
    Would flicker on his face
    Until one day he smiled
It seemed as though with pride
    The wind kissed him
Goodbye – and then he died

Yeah! I’ve left the world behind
I’m safe here in my mind
Free to speak with my own kind
This is my life, this is my life
    I’ll decide not you

Keep the world with all its sin
It’s not fit for livin’ in
    Yeah! I will start again
It can take forever, and ever, and ever
And ever, but I’ll still win.

    [SOLO (Glenn)]

    How many like him,
    Are there still
    But to us, all
Seem to have lost the will
    They lie in thousands
    Plagued and lost
Is nothing worth this bitter cost

Yeah! I’ve left the world behind
I’m safe here in my mind
Free to speak with my own kind
This is my life, this is my life
    I’ll decide not you

Keep the world with all its sin
It’s not fit for livin’ in

    [SOLO (K.K.)]

    Beyond the realms of death.
    ———
    Pretty much sums it up.

The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.

dunno – most TV/films seems to be about relationships these days as well. I love sci-fi and there is usually some sort of romance going on in the ongoing story acrs which is fine as it doesn’t take over the show

problem is it is now filtering into games – COD BLOP 3 basically has an unsaid love interest between the main soldier and the female one he teams up with….the more games start pushing this stuff the more I will move away from the big mainline franchises

anyway back on topic….that is exactly why I mostly listen to stuff by Kevin Yost which is House music I think. Is just a beat with a tune with absolutely no lyrics which means no whiney s~~~ about breaking up or one true love garbage that appeals to teenage girls/women

Adele’s latest song “Hello” is a horrible as well. Not so much that it’s poorly done or the lyrics are that bad by themselves, but the moral of the story is ridiculous.

Essentially, chick breaks dudes heart years earlier. She knows it’s her fault. She misses him and can’t get over it, so starts stalking him (“must have called a thousand times”…which would get a man arrested). And now she has the nerve to give him a guilt trip because he moved on, as if he did something wrong (“it clearly doesn’t tear you apart anymore”). She’s upset that he’s not still hurting. She wants him to still be in emotional pain over her.

I actually had a discussion about this song with my kids, a teaching moment. I wanted them to see how ridiculous and selfish this song actually was. This is not how you treat people you supposedly care about. This is no different then a child throwing him/herself on the floor throwing a temper tantrum.

    Ok. Then do it.

pretty much the female narcissist to a tee….he isn’t interested anymore so she want him to show interest and then if he did she would lose interest herself. All about pathetic validation like those stupid selfies women take

I’m actually working on a Mgtow song with our fellow site member $avior. When we finish we will start a thread with a link that you guys can use to listen to it and maybe download it. Popular music’s obsession with relationships has gone on too long.

I personally always stuck to rather the melancholy minor chords as you very often find in metal songs and as far as I’m concerned they mostly stick to the realistic truth of the matter (never mind the “bad” image of melancholy here)…

PS. @ Tiga K: do keep us posted, man.

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

A cheesy 80’s ballad came on the radio by Chicago or Journey, and a woman in her 50s heard me comment on how sappy the lyrics were. I laughed pretty hard when she said “Yeah. Words no man ever says unless he’s very drunk or very horny”. She didn’t laugh at all , which made it funnier.

That’s been on my mind for a few months now. Every time I hear a weemin sing I mentally cross off every single word and I end up hearing waa-wa-waa over some generic beat and mindless tune. Enough with the wailing already.

I used to really enjoy the black keys til I listened to the words, same sappy boohoo bs over a women every time. I also love old blues but so much bitching about women! These guys have nothing else going on?

Do you ever notice how when a guy writes a relationship song it’s about how he misses his girlfriend and is miserable without her? And when a woman writes one it’s about how the guy was a piece of s~~~ and she’s better off without him? This is generally speaking because this is what sells in our society. But all the popular relationship songs are all about this. Man being sad because woman is good. Women being happy because man is bad. amirite?

Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.

The transformation is great huh, the mgtow makes you aware of what is going into your mind, and you purge your life of mangina music,

    Here’s a song that’s good for profiling c~~~s:

Because in order to be able to think, you have to risk being offensive.

I find love songs more boring and stupid all the time. Hollow and devoid of relevance. I prefer instrumentals, and songs about weird stuff unrelated to relationships.
I was at the market a couple days ago and they had switched to a contemporary C~~~ry and Western soundtrack. Most every song was some guy kissing some woman’s ass, or some whiny tart bitching about men. Complete crap. I assume it’s programmed to please the mostly-female customer base. Nothing about trucks or booze even.
