Apart from careers, sports and leisure, I contend, are what make a man and what keep him going in life. I mean, we learn how to compete from sports as children, we learn team work and the value of improving one’s body, etc. Leisure is many things, from books, to hobbies to whatever else men enjoy doing in this life. As men, we are creatures of action, designed to DO stuff, explore and create.

Now, more to the point, I would like to have your opinions on what I see as an increasing trend of regulating us into extinction as men, by various levels of government imposing an enormous amount of regulations on almost everything that men traditionally loved to do. I just want to make clear that I’m not looking for solutions to this or trying to find some MRA type of counter offensive. I just want your take on this and possibly perspectives of future trends and substitute “sports and leisure” that are still legal and likely to remain legal in the future. And if not, how many of you would still do them if illegal.

Here are some examples of what I’m talking about, which I have seen are pretty similar in many developing and developed countries:

No more open fires almost anywhere.
No more BBQs in the cities.
    No smoking.
No more oil based paints (or other chemicals that go into CARS, boats, motorcycles)
No more guns almost anywhere. (You southern guys are lucky… still)
No more “Men only” clubs (see golf, cigar lounges, etc).
Almost all DIY is illegal, you either need a million permits or you need to hire a MASTER whatever to change a screw or change a light bulb.
Seat belts (this one still boggles my mind) and helmets.
A men can no longer build a house even if he has all the money and skills necessary. It’s simply impossible. Some bureaucrat bitch has to stamp a million forms first, and then, you have to hire someone else to do it, because “you are stupid and it’s dangerous for you”.

For the fathers/uncles out there. There are so many child protection laws and regulations that it’s almost impossible nowadays to be “the cool dad/uncle”. Men used to take kids in all kinds of adventures and let them do all kinds of fascinating stuff, but now… some of my best memories would land my dad and my granddad in prison. Not only that, but how the f~~~ are you supposed to be a strong male figure to your kids when you’re not allowed to do anything?

    There are myriad more examples.

What do you think, am I being paranoid here or what?

PS Why are knitting classes not illegal, with those huge f~~~ing needles they have in the hands of drugged up crazy old hags?

Eventually people will just start ignoring all the stupid legistlation once it goes too far or just resort to bribery when they get caught.

Just look at Russia, it’s a bureacratic nightmare and people just get past it by slipping bribes into eachothers pockets.

I have some of your economic solution here….search this site for
    Real estate.

I was waiting for your comment(s) on this since I read many of your posts and comments and know you’re in real estate. It seems to me that I will eventually have to bribe/study my way into getting certified as an electrician, contractor, painter, plumber, mechanic and what not just to have a “normal” life.

I myself am working toward my own private male only IT project company.
It will fly under the radar.

Maybe I could work for said company, under said radar if and when you start it. We’ll have to wait for KeyMaster to add private message functionality and I think many of us will start fruitful endeavors in the future.

I agree 100% and over my years have seen the slow but upward trend in this. Frog in the pot.

However, the human spirit (male) has the ability, when severely pressed, to overcome and conquer.

The Brits & Germans playing football in nomansland during the Great War.

They said fk the war, the generals, the system, the hate. They became men …. and played sport.

No women, system or -ism can or will break that.

One other thing that p~~~es me off is that on all the DYI channels all those guys are trying to teach us what and how to do stuff but not one of them ever complains about all of this, and in fact they insist that the regulations are good an we should always abide by them. Stupid c~~~s, who the f~~~ is going to watch their shows if nobody is allowed to do anything?

As far as I know, all of the building regulations are city regulations. Meaning outside city limits, you are only limited my physics.

Some of the people around here put up a huge steel building and build whatever they desire on the inside for the living spaces.

Also, for inside city limits, tiny homes have the loophole of being considered “mobile homes” and are not held to the same standards/ building inspections/ regulations. All because it has wheels and can roll.

Major city life ends up so regulated, because the plebes demand that problems be kept out of their face (and special interests also), so they pass laws and enforce preventative measures to cut down what they see will be future problems. There is no open fire anywhere, so there won’t be fire starting, and it goes on and on. Due to the sheer number of people, and potential interactions, you end up with all these laws past to prevent problems.

Outside of feminist barking, it isn’t some giant conspiracy to do in men. I say that, because society doesn’t see men at all, and particularly MGTOWs. To be conspired against, they have to see you.

No concealed carry is another one, the real criminals still have concealed weapons, it leaves the average citizen defenseless and causes those who want to cause trouble to realize that there’s little chance of them getting shot, stabbed or thwacked for it.
