Regret Culture and the new Witch Hunt

Was reading this article yesterday, and after a second read of it I was disgusted at the attitude of the writer. She often writes pieces that are female propaganda oriented, but a few common sense ones too. This story is not one one of the sensible ones.

While no one is going to condone or support rape culture in the general population, this newspaper piece is a perfect example of what is so wrong about the victim culture mentality.

Is it just me, or are these stories becoming more and more the fodder of a new Regret Culture that is the real “the victim is never wrong” culture that women so easily embrace?

There is no such thing as “rape culture”. It’s a lie.

On the other hand, “false accusation culture” is definitely a thing. It’s also known as feminism.

Reminds me of what’s going on now with Trump. I could care less one way or the other who becomes President, because imo you guys in the US are f~~~ed either way, (I know, Trudeau’s no better) but now that this recording of Trump talking about how he groped a woman has come out, women are coming out of the woodwork claiming he sexually assaulted them, one of them claimed it happened over 30 freakin’ years ago. Jesus, lady, even if that was true why the hell did you wait so long? It’s things like this that make people unable to take their word for it. Just the timing alone makes it seem like they’re lying.

I’m sympathetic to someone who was abused as a child – I don’t care what their gender is, no one deserves that – but this line is at the very beginning:

then-swirling news of the Jian Ghomeshi trial and the vitriol thrown at the women who testified against him.

This would be women who were proven in court to be making false accusations? Then vitriol is the least they deserve. A prison cell would be better.

@sidecar right to the point ! I share the same thoughts, play the victim is their favourite game. Feminism isn’t about sex equality, of any improvement on women life, is about bitching out loud about everything.

Let’s use game theory, pro vs cons, in the case of false accusations, what happens in “that works”, men is throw in prison , if not ? What happen in your country @sidecar ?

In mine, nothing, not even a public apology for what happened. Until someone change the system, and make a false accusation something serious as it should be, things won’t change.

Had to defend myself yesterday against the mob and their delusional thinking over a topic today in my professional life. Now I am labelled a woman hater because I did not agree with them, and presented a counter view.

This really is beginning to get beyond levels of tolerable. We are going to need a lot of asylums for these female crazies.

Just take a look at Janice Dickenson’s own story , flaunting and admission of the way she seduced “the most famous and slimy men of Hollywood”… as a “celebrity wildcat”.

She “seduced” them.

• Her “own alchohol-induced blackouts”.
• Can’t even remember meeting Stephen Spielberg because she was so bombed.
• Has sex with Jack Nicholson and brags about it after he asked her NOT to.

…. and after all that proud display and bragging of her conquests, she tries to bring a case against Cosby some decades later???

Please.

The creator of her own “regret culture” all by herself.
