This video clip makes me sad. During the 1970s, Redd Foxx was having the time of his life: hit TV show (Sanford and Son) and plenty of money. Getting a divorce and tax problems broke his spirit. During an interview, he said something interesting about having money: women were attracted to him because he was a provider.

I find it interesting how all his friends—the ones he helped out when he was at the peak of his success—couldn’t be found to help him raise money during the last year of his life.

If Redd Foxx went MGTOW, he would’ve enjoyed his retirement years instead of being broke.

I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

I remember seeing him in an interview right after his tax problems. His accountant had embezzled a lot of money from him, and he ended up owing the IRS a s~~~load of money. He said the IRS took the ring off his finger (I forget…I think it was a diamond ring). I guess the real lesson here is manage your own finances, and manage well.

I NEVER get how any one that is either MAKING, WINNING, or INHERITING Millions doesn’t just stop along the way and sack at least a couple few million away off the books in a “mason jar” account ? Not that it would help someone as obviously reckless as he was with his money.

The LAST person I would TRUST would be an accountant that can STEAL it ALL, and make it LOOK LIKE you’re wealthy.

I would keep my Investments SIMPLE, and have my accountant AUDITED monthly by another accounting firm, and if the numbers were big enough then I would throw a second audit on top of that as well.

As far as WASTING his money on Gold Diggers, and his Entourage of LEACHES that’s on HIM, and just goes to show us that he was his own worse enemy.

He’s the type of person that would NEVER have enough MONEY Regardless of his income.
