I started playing Witcher 3 a few days ago and (spoiler) one of the quests is to help a baron find his family. Ive found them and finally heard out his story of how his family fell apart. It was like hearing a MGTOW intro. He fell in love, got married, had a kid, lived a life of war on deployment, and comes back to find out he’d been “cuckolded for years” were his exact words. His wife takes the daughter and leaves with the other guy, so the Baron tracks them down and slaughters the other guy and takes his family back by force. I know its just a video game but thats exactly why Im blown away. The truth always resonates throughout the worlf and the red pills on this site are so true that they are even reflected in a video game. Amazes me. That is all.

    What? I don’t remember that.

The wife and daughter leave because the Baron is an abusive drunkard that physically beat her. When Geralt hears this he wants to beat the Baron’s ass right then and there, and does physically punish him.

His daughter enlists in the military, and hates his guts. His wife is taken in by Crones/Witches, who take people’s ears as payment and eat children. The wife goes nuts taking care of the children that are being raised for the Crones to eat, and never recovers when they take them to eat them. The Baron goes with Geralt to get the wife, and one option is to let him throw all of his assets away to travel around and try to find a cure for her.

Seriously wtf did you play? You just made up random bulls~~~. It’s not like people can’t just look up the story. Plus it’s a super popular game that a lot of us have played. Did you seriously think you could just make random s~~~ up and then what, get praised for it? I don’t even understand wtf possessed you to write this garbage.

@phoenix Depends on how you play the game. You have the option to hear out his side of the story. Look it up if you dont believe me.

I will agree the game is better than American BS. It is Polish made and they are a bit better.

But it’s not very red pill overall. A good game for sure. But Geralt is mostly still a pussy beggar and the game has a lot of gynocentric stuff. Yennefer is pretty much your modern entitled bitch.

Just thought it was really interesting and my friends dont give a s~~~ so I expressed myself here. I like Witcher more and more as I play.

Yeah that’s fine, I get it. I apologize for my initial response, there was no need for me to have that aggressiveness. I’m a bit leery of newer members because there are so many trolls up and about. We always have to be careful of approving domestic violence, which is definitely what Bloody Baron does to his wife. Never know when that type of thing can be used against us. That’s why I’m a bit careful on that.

And I perfectly understand expressing yourself here, because you’re right most people are so blue pill you really can’t.

There are other forums for video games and stuff, maybe it would be better to put it there but this is okay too.

How far along in the game are you? I usually don’t play AAA games because they’re usually s~~~, but Witcher 3 really was very good.

Great game – I’ve played it to death.

I did a MGTOW play through a couple of months back, making suitably red pill choices. Had Geralt get caught cheating on both Yennefer and Triss, and got the ending variation where he is alone. My overall ending wasn’t bad though (won’t go into details, I hope I haven’t given away any spoilers already!), because of all the other things that influence it.

The whole Bloody Baron quest line was extremely complicated, lots of flawed characters involved. But yeah, it was possible to miss the dialog about the guys wife having an affair.

His daughter enlists in the military, and hates his guts. His wife is taken in by Crones/Witches, who take people’s ears as payment and eat children.

More accurately, Tamara joins the witch hunters, which are basically the strong arm of the church/cult. With the revelation of actual witches (Crones) behind the dramas, you know the conclusion is going to be heavy…

@phoenix Thanks for the apology. I just finished saving Anna and the killing the Fiend. I restarted that quest and made sure to kill the spirit in the tree this time. I wanna take it slow and do everything because Ive heard that once you finish it youre just done with it. Next Im gonna go around Velen doing all the contracts and side quests.

Witcher 3 is my favorite RPG and the bloody baron could possibly be an all time great quest line. Even in the game though, the bloody barons wife is still made out too look like the victim. There are also other subtle red pill moments in various cut scenes.

Unfortunately, Geralt can often times be a simp around Yennifer or other women.

I really liked the baron quest with its artistic cutscenes and some really good but dark kodak moments. I did always feel like I just wanted to finish it though, especially when I was chasing The Pellars goat around lol.

There isn’t really a good option on that decision, but you’ll very likely want at least two full playthroughs as almost everything in this game has at least 2 possible choices.

Also you can’t do all of Velen. At some point you’ll have to go to Novigrad, and then Skellige, and then return to Velen to finish up. There is post game stuff in Velen, and then the final area is in the Toussaint area.

It’s really a great game. Just don’t look for it to be red pill or anything. And welcome to the forums, brother.

The Red Pill moment for me was towards the end, getting Geralt drunk at Kaer Morhen and using Yennifer’s megascope to try contacting some elven bitches. I dunno if any other game ever cracked me up so much.

    I don't need a legacy.. I don't need a monument.
