Seems I can’t go outside without being engulfed in blue pill incidents as they’re unfolding. From this week alone:

1. Buddy knocks up his girlfriend. He’s already been divorced once, lost his house, years of depression, kids are basket cases, and now he’s got one on the way with a chick whom he’s admitted has some mental issues. She is going to use the kid angle to gain some preference points to get into a nursing program. Apparently, there is an enrollment preference for single moms vs single ladies.

2. Dude at work. Divorced once already, barely survived the first one from the financial, depression, and booze issues. Now dating a single mom and careening head first into the same type of situation thinking, “This will be different.” I overheard him talking on the phone to her, and I told him point blank, he’s gotta quit being so nice to her, or she’s gonna walk all over him and rip him to shreds.

Looks like another slam my dick in the door day.

Like dealing with any natural disaster you can: prepare and train; monitor conditions; observe the event or evacuate; and, then try to rescue any survivors and rebuild. However, sometimes the only thing you can do is witness and learn.

It just baffles me that both of these guys went through the ringer once and in a horrible way. Now they’re thundering right back down the same path making the same mistakes. I can’t talk any sense into them.

What’s funny is, as we talked about other things over the past couple days, they couldn’t draw any credibility to how I was living my life. Many things I tried to share with and explain to them seemed to always end in, “well yeah, you’re smart that you did that…”

I’ve known quite a few people like this. This last guy who was in my last social group, was in a relations~~~ with this bipolar as f~~~ land whale. She made him eat s~~~ daily! She would always make him take s~~~ tests constantly. She’s also a feminist. And expects a tradcon boyfriend/husband. She’s only getting uglier by the minute.

I don’t try to change their minds or even give them red pills because it’s not worth the time nor effort. I know plenty of guys who are so deep in the bluepill world that no amount of reasoning, logic, or facts will reach them.

The comedy rolls on. Another friend called me this afternoon. His girlfriend was getting text messages from another guy while she was in the shower and he was in the kitchen by her phone. Clear cut hedging on her part. All kinds of dirty stuff and he’s hell bent on making her admit she’s cheating.

I asked him, “Why bother?” I’d have picked up my s~~~ and left before she got outta the tub. Leave a nice note on the counter, “you can be with him. Best of luck.”

I can’t get through his head that there are legions of bored out teen moms in their 30’s with multiple children, credit card debt, and nothing to offer.

I know the feeling, some days it seems like almost every other man around me has decided to just cut his nose off to spite his face.

Some days all I can do is take the guy aside after work, pour him a tall Maker’s Mark, and try to talk some sense into him.

The only other thing I can do is watch, shake my head and be glad that it is not me.
