So I sit down at my favorite booth for breakfast and open Brussel’s Agenda in het Nederlands because I have to learn it to work and this headline strikes my attention:
Red-Bull drinkers want to be macho.
Do you drink like a can of Red Bull? Then you are probably already a real macho man. At least that is the conclusion of a study that was published this month in the journal Health Psychology.
The study surveyed 467 adult men aged between 18 and 62 years. Men who agreed with statements like “a man would always have to be the boss ‘and’ gay people should never marry,” and also attached more importance to the masculine attributes of drinks like Red Bull.

The men think that drinking such drinks makes them more masculin was one of the conclusions put forward.
But according to principal investigator and professor “Ronald Levant it could have more to do with the advertising of brands like Red Bull. ,, The message is often that when you are young, white and heterosexual, energy drinks your drink for you. ”
Younger men want to meet the image portrayed in commercials. The image of men who practice extreme sports and are around beautiful women. For older men it didn’t matter all that much, They don’t ask themselves wether they’re manly enough and are doing less about it and they also don’t feel the need to prove that. “

Another warped study suggesting Men who consume Energy Drinks are somehow bad, Macho, violent and agressive.
I checked the French edition of the paper and that study wasn’t in that one. Things that make you go (?)
I had trouble finding this link:

Do you drink Red Bull? I had few cans by now, the thing’s been out for years.
Do you consider yourself a Macho?
having or showing qualities (such as very noticeable strength and aggression) that agree with traditional ideas about what men are like : manly or masculine in a very noticeable or exaggerated way” – Merriam-Webster

    And on a side note.
I’d like to congratulate KeyMaster and all the MGTOW.com team for passing the 12,000-member mark. A milestone all its own.

I stick to coffee. I’ve even read it has health benefits. Red Bull tastes like cough syrup to me, and I don’t want any of the chemicals in it other than caffeine.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

If i can suggest you a better option, that would be green tea.

Coffee can make your eyeb~~~~ hardened and it will make your eye fatique, but yes, it will make your heart healthy as long as you don’t drink 10 cups a day or more.

Not to mention that the effect of the caffeine will makes your mood swing in other day if you don’t take the caffeine in the other day.

Green tea have some natural composition that will make your eyes healthy, and a caffeine that not as much as coffee has.

But coffee and green tea, both are having an oxalat-acid that wil cause kidney stone.

To counter kidney stone, its by eating lemon and watermelon, a natural kidney stone destroyer.

But i like both, but i make my own schedule, that in a week, i drank 2 cups of coffee (monday, tuesday), and 5 cups of green tea (the rest of the day of the week).

I drink some coffee. Tea in the evenings and juices during the day. That Red Bull stuff is not very tasty, I grant you that. Not good good for my BP either. Though the doc lowered the med to 10mg a day so that’s an improvement over 20.
But I knew some guys who’d down that energy drink like cola! Talk about wired up!

    Rekt. /thread
    Well maybe not totally…

I drink some coffee. Tea in the evenings and juices during the day.

For me a good day is:

Morning: Fresh orange Juice or Tropicana with pulp

    Day: Sweet Tea/Lemonade

Evening: Scotch neat, Tequila dressed with or served with salt/lime on the side to bite, or Rum chased with Coke if available.

Eat lemon and watermelon, so it would not make stone in your kidney.

It means wreck. Normally as in the OP’s argument was totaled by a responder. Whether one wants to promote drinking Red Bull, Klaus pointed out that drinking a drink that uses aspartame is simply a bad idea because that stuff will f~~~ up your health.
